T Stands for Crafty Weekend.

4 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant 5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; 6 it does not rejoice at wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth. 7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

8 Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 ESV

Can you believe it?  It is time for another TSFT post!  The days go so quickly!  I don't know if I mentioned it or not, but I haven't been taking my daily walks because I have tendonitis.  I even wore a boot for a while.  I think I still have it, but I am tired of not walking!  I walked around the block today.  I am starting little but hope to work back up to my 4 miles again, especially with nicer weather coming!

I will show you what I have been working on all weekend as I zoomed with crafty friends.  We were doing the Virtual Stamp Night challenges on Splitcoaststampers.  It was so fun!  I made 14 cards over the weekend and 3 have already been mailed.  The photo is of the 14 plus the three I did for the mini VSN in February.

The frog and dog cards were mailed in a bundle with other cards to Cards for Cubs, a group that mails cards to kids in foster homes.  You might recognize three of the cards as I posted them on my blog in February after VSN mini.  I had to photograph and then address the ones to go out today and make a run to the post office.

I hope you are having a great day.  Here is my ticket to the TSFT party over at Bleubeard & Elizabeth's.  Come check out the other blogs as we share what we are doing as we sip a drink of choice.

This happens to be what I am drinking today.  I am collecting these tags to use in junk journals.  This brand usually has some kind of saying on the tag.

Thank you for stopping by, and have a wonderful crafty week.

T Stands For Spring

11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; Ephesians 6:11-18

Good afternoon, and Happy Spring!  Supposedly around here at 10:30 Sunday it became Spring!  Yay!

In honor of Spring, I am entering a journal page into Art Journal Journey Spring Page Challenge for March.

I Just finished my March Junk Journal for Dear Julie, Dear Julie Challenge. This is page is the center of my journal with a doily in the very center of it.  I stamped a background with River City Stamp Rubber Works stamp sets.  One is "Daisy Images", and one is "Daisy Text".  I added gems and copper stickles.  The page is actually the inside of a large junk mail envelope that I took apart and opened up.  My journal cover measures  6'' by 8 1/4", and this page opened up is 10 1/2 " by 7 3/4", that makes my pages 5 1/4 by 7 3/4.  This journal is for my use to keep track of challenges.  It will start in May, when my other journal I am using ends.   This is also for our S2S March Challenge to collage a project.

Here is the page before going into my journal.

Now for my drink related post for our TSFT party over at Bleubeard & Elizabeth's.  I keep taking photos when we go out to eat then lose track of what I have used and not used. LOL

We went to a small airport near us last week to eat, so I know I haven't posted these photos yet.  We enjoyed seeing planes take off and land while we were there.  It is more than just a delicious meal, it is an experience.

We could have eaten outside but opted to stay inside.

Here is our lemon water.  I like the way the vessel they use for their water on the table for you.
Oh, and do you see our pizza.  It was out of this world good.

As we were leaving another plane landed.  In fact two landed while we were getting in our car.

Happy T Day and Happy Spring.  Thanks for stopping by.  Be sure and check out what the rest of the T gang are doing over at Altered Book Lover.  Maybe you could even join us?  We get together every Monday/ Tuesday.

It is time again to join the crafters over at Stamping Ground to see what everyone's desk looks like and to see what they are all doing.  Julia is our hostess for this weekly event.  So, hop on over and see what is going on, today.

This was what was on my desk recently after I went over to Hobby Lobby.  I hadn't been there in a while.  Although, I didn't need any stamps I couldn't resist these prices!

I have already used some of these.  New stuff always inspires you, doesn't it? :)

Crafting wise, I helped some crafty ladies at a senior apartment complex make some cards this week.  I designed the following cards.  But no one card was the same.  They all put their own twist on it.  We had some good laughs, too.  I had forgotten a couple of things, but we or they made do.  I said I am a failure, and they said no, they were just glad I came and helped them.

That is what is going on here.  Now, I need to go see what you all are doing.  Thanks for stopping by.  Have a great rest of the week!  Continued prayers for Ukraine.

Hello T Gang and all my other followers.  I have started my March Junk Journal Challenge. I am submitting of the pages for Valerie's Spring Challenge over at Art Journal Journey.

Whole page, but when I put it in the signature, the two won't be side by side.  This was for the requirement to use a scrapbook page.  We can use anything in our stash.  sqaure with the daisy is a pocket. My book is Daisy themed. :)  I will show more later.

Short this week.

Here is my ticket to the Tea Party or T Stands for Tuesday, over at Bleubeard's & Elizabeth's at Altered Book Lover.

I forgot to take a photo until I was almost done.  I had a great salad and lemon water.  We were at Village Inn, but it was the wrong day for free pie for seniors. :)   Post a drink and join the party!

I wish you all a great week.  Praying for the people of Ukraine with the rest of you.

My Desk on the Second Now & Then

11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

It is time to show what is on our desks and to link to Julia over at Stamping Ground.  Since I am also joining Bleubeard & Elizabeth over at Altered Book Lover for Second on the 2nd, I thought it would be fun to show now & then.

Here is my desk today!  What's On Your Desk? Wednesday #665

I couldn't decide what I was doing today.  The sunflower book is a junk journal I made last year.  Next to it on the right is what I was collecting to make a daisy junk journal, which is the March Stashbuster challenge by Julie Dear Julie this year.

The card on top of the little white organizer is a daisy card I made for the Alpha Challenge over at SplitcoastStampers, for P for petals this week.  That thingy with the handle is what I use to press harder on my Misti when stamping.  It is easier on my wrists.  What I originally got it for was to use to press down on pages on the Geli plate. On box it is a Speedball baren, made for a comfortable grip "for a shock-absorbent, smooth slide, this baren makes it easy to create even pressure for better ink images."  Great for arthritic wrists.  I bought it like 20 years ago, and just now getting it out to use on a regular basis, not just with the Geli plate.  It saves on my wrists.

Here is my desk then: November 26, 2013

What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday #234 & EMS Scrap Sketch

Well, my workdesk is a mess, because I have been scrapping.  I even have stuff from last week still on here! Yikes!  You can see the yellow strip of CS that I tried to cut my letters out of.  It didn't work, too light weight, so I used some 12x12 SU!  Also, do you notice the 2 adhesives in lower left corner?  Well, they stopped working.  I have a whole sack of adhesive, that broke or quit working.  They are different brands.  Am I the only person that has difficulties with adhesive?
Also, in front of the Copics are some gift calendars I am working on. I stamped an image and am using the inks to water color.  There are some fun photos on there that I might incorporate on a card.   If you don't know what WOYWW is check it out at Julia's Stamping Ground.

WOYWW #234
A close up on my scrap page is below.  It is for several challenges:
SCS VSBN English Degree ( my Bachelor Degree)  We were to use a conversation bubble on our page.
Stash Busters Challenge:  We were to use two printed papers at least a year old, Epoxy sticker or put a shiny glaze over a sticker, ribbon slide, ribbon.
Even More Scrapping Sketch Challenge # 50

EMS Sketch # 50

Credits:  Printed Paper TPC Studio "School Days Alphabet Jumble"
Cardstock: So Saffron & Sage Shadow both SU!
Accessories:  SU! Alphabet Die, Certainly Celery Ribbon, Ribbon Slide from years and years ago!  Spellbinders leaf die.  Bubble sticker from Bernard J. Putt & Assoc 1985!
Yikes!! 1985! LOL    I thought it would be fun to use the letters and the negative of the letters on my page.

Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Psalm 103:1-2

And finally, wishing my friends in U.S. Happy Thanksgiving!  Here is a photo of the pumpkin that my husband and I are slaughtering tomorrow to freeze lots and lots of bags of pumpkin!  But I thought it would make a nice Fall photo. :)  We do this every year about this time and then bake and freeze lots of mini loaves and regular size ones for Christmas gifts.

I hope you enjoyed seeing what is on my desk and a second look at 2013!  Have a glorious day!  Thank you so much for stopping by.
