T Stands For Snow!

"Let my mouth be filled with thy praise and with thy honor all the day." Ps. 71:8

Whaaaat?  Yes, we have snow on the 26th of October!  I cannot believe it!  And besides that it is cold!  BRR!

Yes, my hubby was shoveling snow.  It was 25 degrees outside!  Eek!

It has been a perfect day for crafting.  I have been getting ready for our Falliday Fest on SplitcoastStampers.  It will begin November 2nd, and will include challenges and Holliday Blitz of tutorials.  All are welcome to come and take part!  Here is the  Falliday Fest 2020 Chat Thread.  I am one of the hostesses, so I am getting my samples ready for my challenge.

Talking of special challenges, when we had our Dare To Get Dirty Challenges, I won a prize.

It is from The Rabbit Hole Designs and here is my haul!  Two stamp sets, and two stencils and as a thank you, sequins and the cutest little rabbit paper clip and sweet tarts, which I already ate!

And for the tea party T Stands For Tuesday over at Bleubeard & Elizabeth's, here is my tea in my huge cup!  I am drinking Twinings Blackcurrant Breeze to keep me warm today.

Happy T Day! Thank you for stopping by.  Have a great week!  Stay warm!

T Stands For 1919 Morning Lady Tag

"Let my mouth be filled with thy praise and with thy honor all the day." Ps. 71:8

Good evening.  I am posting this for T Stands For Tuesday early, Monday evening.  I will link up with Bleubeard and Elizabeth over at Altered Book Lover.  She is a lovely hostess every week; and all we have to do is post something drink related in our post and we can come to the party!

I don't know how Monday evening sneaks up on me, but it does!  But, I do just have the ticket this evening for the Tea party!  My secret prayer sister revealed herself to me with a gift Sunday at church.

I already am drinking tea out of my new cup and am wearing the cozy soft socks!  It has turned cool here and the furnace is on!  Brr!  What happened to Fall?

What am I working on this week?  Still working on Junk Journals! LOL  Because I finished my September Junk Journal Challenge for Dear Julie Julie , I was rewarded with free digi images from her.

This is a tag (with a pocket) I created using one of her Morning 1919 ladies.  This will go somewhere in my journal.  I colored one of Julies's 1919 Morning Ladies a little with Copics.  I colored the little flower with a Copic , also.  I added pieces of lace, ribbon, and a sticker.  The card stock  is Ruby Red from Su!  The Designer Series Paper or DSP is from SU! also, both cardstock and paper are retired.  The leaves are dies cuts from Special Reason stamp/die bundle from SU! (Stampin' Up!) These Morning Ladies are available in her Etsy Shop.

Thank you so much for stopping by.  Thank you for your comments.  It is nice to know someone is actually reading my posts! LOL

Happy T Day to the T gang!

T Stands For Triple Cube Card

"Let my mouth be filled with thy praise and with thy honor all the day." Ps. 71:8

Good evening all!  I just thought  I would do a quick post for TSFT over at Bleubeard & Elizabeth's at Altered Book Lover.  I learned it and received directions over at my SU! demo's house last week, and since have made two.

I used an old stamp set to decorate this one.  In fact the papers are all retired, too.  Choosing the papers and colors were more difficult than putting the cubes together.

This one I made for a friend's special birthday.  Both these cards fold flat and fit in a regular A-2 envelope.

Below is another project I was working on.  A friend wanted some teabags for her crafting, but doesn't drink tea, so I was drying out bags, and  emptying them to send to her.  Meanwhile, I will also have some tea stained paper towels for crafting. Win/win!

I promised short, and short it will be!  Thank you for stopping by to see what I am doing.
Happy T Day to the T gang.

Happy Columbus Day, too!

T Stands for Time For Another Junk Journal!

Ps. 100:5 " For the Lord is good: his mercy is everlasting: and his truth endureth to all generations."

Good Evening!  I will try to make it to TSFT at Bleubeard & Elizabeth's at Altered Book Lover this week!  I think you can find my drink references in this post! Last post, I showed you my first junk journal, now  I am still busy making junk journals.  I love the fact that you can use all this stuff I have been collecting for over 20 years in my craft room.  This time Julie Challenged us to make a mini JJ in our main September challenge.  It was to have pages with at least one double pocked and tucks, and an embellishment.  I like Junk Journals that are practical, so this one is one to write my daily craft challenges in.

The front used some paper I have been hoarding forever, and I have two pads of this 12x12 paper and like it because of the teapots, of course.  I am getting brave and added lace.

Below is inside the cover.  I used some homemade paper for the pocket. (not by me).  And  made a tab that sticks out too, using hoarded teapot stickers.  Another challenge was to use 3 different note like paper.  I used this hoarded teapot notes!  I also used a to do note pad, and another place sticky note papers.

Below is the music page with double pockets and double tucks on each side.  This is the center on my signature book.

Most of the pages look like this with the chart on one side and the back of a chart on one side to list other challenges.  I used a teapot or teacup sticker on the back sides for decoration.

Another Challenge requirement was to use 4 different kinds of paper:  I used ledger, notebook paper, music paper, and DSP.

A page using hoarded paper and a tag from ledger paper.

I made the embellishment by decorating a extra large paperclip, and it holds my book closed.
It is 34 pages, or 68 front and back.  Mostly copy paper with my challenge charts on it.

I hope you are enjoying my journey with the junk journals. I wanted lots of writing space in this one.  I like a more clean and simple style, but am sure as I continue I will get more into it! LOL

I am not getting used to this new Blogger.  I was able to finally add the button for you to subscribe by email, but in the process lost all my followers.  I have read a little about how to fix it, but haven't had time to try anything yet.  Have any of you with Blogger had this problem?

Thanks for stopping by.  I can't tell you how much I love reading your comments, too.  Happy T Day to the T Gang!
