5th Anniversary for T Stands for Tuesday

Phi 4:4  Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

It is time for the big Tea Party over at Altered Book Lover  as Bleubeard and Elizabeth celebrate five years of "T Stands for Tuesday"!  Now I have only been visiting for a couple of months, but have really enjoyed the tea parties each Tuesday.

I am not only celebrating by participating in an ATC swap but also by returning to my original idea of posting my teapots!  Before I moved I was doing that, but then life got very busy.  I have given many away and some have been packed    Well here are some I have unpacked.  You might think I have overdone it, but here are the just the teapots I have in my set of dishes.  Not one but three!

Ok, and the funny thing is I heat the water in my electric pot and pour it directly over the teabag in my cup! :)

I probably over did it on tea stamp sets, too, as you see below!  I tend to go overboard!

Same thing with tea themed paper, but couldn't find it to take a photo of it!  But here is a card that I made with some great Kaiser Craft from a tea themed paper pad. Oh, and do you notice I even have a teapot punch?  I even have a teapot die!

Happy 5th Birthday T Stands for Tuesday!

Thanks for stopping by for tea.  A special shout out to my dear friend Linda who peeks in sometime.  I am thankful for you!

  1. Wow I love all of the tea pots-that's funny about not using your tea pots to steep the tea. smiles

  3. Happy T Day to you Sharon, it did make me giggle seeing the Three Tea pots and the Tea bag and water in the cup but how could you choose which one to use from those three beauties.
I too like to collect stamps that marry up to others, it's what I call a healthy addiction hee hee!! Pretty card to celebrate the 5th year, happy celebrations.

open dashboard, go to setting / adjustments
    there go to: email
go to: comment notification... remove your email... save
then add your email back to this box again. save.
now you shoud get an email where you are asked to subscribe the notifications. click to subscribe.
    now all should be fine.
fast and easy peasy. good luck!!

  5. When you do something, you do it in a BIG way. I adore the early Americana pieces you have collected. The teapot/cup combination may be my favorite, as is the matching tea bag holder. They are all great, though.

I can't believe all the tea sets of stamps you have, and a punch, too. I'd love to have a die cutter to make great cards and ATCs like you. Even the cupcake embossing is wonderful.

Thanks for bringing out all the fun pieces to help celebrate T Tuesday's fifth anniversary.

  7. Sharon I love your tea set, beautiful colour,I must admit I always use a teapot when I make tea, not as pretty as yours, stainless steel, stops me breaking them, We call it mashing the tea! Might be a northern saying.
I didn't know you had so many teapot stamps, ha,ha.
    Have a great week, jan

  12. You definitely found a new home in the T-party group, Sharon. I love seeing your teapots and cups. I can't think of anything more appropriate for T. Wow, you have more tea-related stamps alone than I have stamps in total! I'm envious - lol.

Great post. I really enjoyed it.

Happy 5th T-day Birthday! Hugs, Eileen

  13. Love your tea set - and that you don't use the pots...the tea bag in the cup is the method hubby uses! I love that you have a collection of tea stamps too - it's economy to collect themed sets that go together surely? (says the woman who can't resist stamps with greenery or flowers!!) Happy T Day! 15. I have a slew of tea stamps too. I haven't used them much lately, but maybe I need to. I used to have that dish set (well it is boxed up in my basement) but never had the teapots. They are really nice to have even if you don't use them. Sometimes you just need things because they are pretty. And nice to have with your dishes. :) Hope it was a great T day. I am late responding as we had some pretty bad thunderstorms this afternoon. Hugs-Erika

  18. Hi Sharon. The T party is over and the names of the players have been thrown in the pot. You have been paired with Kate. It is up to you to get her snail mail information. Thanks beyond belief for making this a lovely T celebration.

  20. Wow! How fun that you have so many tea themed stamps. I have one set that I really like but that is about it. I would love to have more tea themed projects. Maybe next time you can share what you tea stamps look like on paper (hint). I would love to see them all.
Your tea set is lovely and so is your tea card!
Happy Tea Day a Day Late,
    Kate

  21. I laughed when you mentioned that with three tea pots, you pour the boiling water straight from the kettle! Haha. We still use a tea pot every day (Breakfast and supper) and in winter we use a tea cozy to keep the pot warm. When we go to the UK this September I must remember to buy a new tea cozy as this one is nearly desintegrating.
Keep those tea pots coming. I love to see them.
    Lovely card by the way.
    Happy belated T-Day,
    Lisca
