T Stands for Another New Technique

Therefore I will give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen,
and I will sing praises unto thy name. 2 Samuel 22:50

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter.  We had a wonderful day beginning with our Easter servies at church with specials even from our church children celebrating our Risen Saviour.  After that celebration, I walked because it was gorgeous outside.  Then we had our Easter dinner which included baked ham, almond green beans, sweet potato casserole and deviled eggs.  I didn't take any photos, but it was all delicious.  I did remember to take a photo of the deviled eggs when I prepared them on Saturday, and luckily, my cup is in the photo for TSFT.

Easter Eggs

What have I been doing today?  After a trip to Walmart early this morning, I walked and this time I walked the direction with the sidewalks on my trail and found these signs of upcoming events:

And I have also been crafting:

The card is made with the Embossed Ribbon Technique.  This is a great technique for using some of that stash of ribbon we all have.  I love this technique! If you are interested, here is the challenge on Splitcoaststampers with the video by Nastasia, and all the details.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a great week.  See you next time.

  1. Lovely card, that is wonderful you have a nice place to take a walk-I miss that as I used to take long walks at our woods home.
    Happy T wishes Kathy

  3. Personally I like your card better than the one that lady in the video made. Hers didn't have enough contrast, which yours does. I DID like how she made the Happy Birthday, but I like yours, too. And we both know these are YOUR colors, Sharon (grin).

I LOVE deviled eggs. They are always a favorite at any meal I attend. Sadly, I don't think to make them just for myself. And of course, anything blue I love, too. It's my accent color in my kitchen, along with my secondary color, copper. It's nice to have such a complete set of tableware like that.

Looks like you will be enjoying the Trails celebration on my birthday. Enjoy the trails.

Thanks so much for sharing your eggs, your card, the trail information, and your tea with us for T this week, dear Sharon.

  4. BTW, here is a link to the post I tried to explain to you. Ironically, I had an oval die that was large enough to take in most of the tulips. I couldn't believe it was larger than your oval die, but it was.

PS: You wrote me about the previous post:
"I have no idea if I am posting on the correct post. Either this is very long post or I am on one from a month ago."
Grin! You were definitely on the right post - they are always so long. To compensate, I post less often 😉...
