T Stands For Tuesday and Tea Cup

Our memory verse for Bible study last night:  II Cor 3:18 "But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the spirit of the Lord."

I am late to the Tea Party as I am trying to catch up from being out of town for four days at a scrap retreat!  I got lots of layouts done, and even  card, and worked on Christmas gifts, too.  Now, I am trying to unpack all of my craft items and sort them back into place!  Last night I went to our ladies Bible Study potluck, and there I received a gift of this beautiful tea cup from my secret prayer sister.
So fun!  It came with a lid and a diffuser.   Isn't it beautiful?

That is my post for Elizabeth's TSFT over at Altered Book Lover.

Now, I will show you one layout of the 15 I was able to complete.  The photos might look familiar, as it is from my walk at the retreat back in June. The companion page is of the people at the crop, so not showing it, because they might not want their faces shown online. The rest of the title "Love" is on the second layout.

And here are photos from my walk this time around, to a different part of town.

I don't know why it is called Wall Park.  It is a nice park, 60 acres of excercie trails, tennis courts, handball courts, ball fields, playgrounds, a skate park with a four acre lake.  By  the time we walked over to it and along the creek and around the small lake, and back to the house, we had walked well over three miles and for over an hour.  Then we got back to scrapping.  A nice break!
Thanks for stopping by.  Have a great T Day!

The cup set is beautiful, Sharon. Your scrap retreat sounds like so much fun. I miss having people nearby that want to craft with me. We used to have a monthly card making party. I really enjoyed it. People moved away and the group fell apart.

Beautiful layout and photos. I hope you'll share more from your retreat at T.

Happy T-day! Eileen xx

Sharon, that´s a beautiful cup (sadly I already have way too many cups!).
Hm. Beautiful work of yours, I have so much paper, maybe I start crafting again, also - but where do you put it?

Wow, that mug is stunning! What a thoughtful present from a prayer sister.
Your lay-out is lovely. It's good you have made a lay-out straight away as it will get forgotten otherwise.
The place looks really nice and I can imagine you have had a great time.
The Wall Park looks very pretty and walking is such a nice environment makes you forget the time.
Happy belated T-Day,
Hugs,
Lisca

P.S. I just saw your comment to me that you have snow in your forecast. Ugh!! (It got cool where I am in CT, too, but not that cold yet. We rarely get snow in October, but it has happened. A few years ago we had a bad storm just before Halloween, and because the leaves were still on a lot of the trees, the heavy snow brought down a lot of branches, knocking out power for a lot of people.)

Who would have thought a pesky squirrel could have sidelined me for over three days. It sure sidelined ME. Otherwise I would have been here sooner.

I'm very sorry I'm late visiting. I got back online just in time to learn there was going to be a hard freeze tonight. I spent the entire day cutting back my herbs and getting the ones I could lift into the house. The others I covered tonight with sheets. I hope you don't have any plants outside tonight that will freeze.

Looks like a lovely retreat again. Nice walk, too. And I'm glad you got so many layouts finished, as well as cards. I'm totally impressed.

What a beautiful gift from your secret sister. she must know you well. It's a beautiful mug. Thanks for sharing your scrapbook page, your walk around town and the lake, and your lovely new mug with us for T this week, dear. So sorry to be this late. Stay warm tonight.
