What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 264

Good morning!  It is what they call "hump day".   But when you are retired, it doesn't have the same meaning, because you are home every day! :)  I just now took a photo of what my desk looks like this morning, same as last night. I just had 170 photos printed, because I got a deal!  I am making so much work for myself. That is a lot of scrapping!  But those are photos from a whole year, including some photos of mementos, and a lot from our road trip two weeks ago.    Also, you can see that I am coloring an image for our SCS Tickle a Teapotter Challenge. And in the corner of the photo is my "tickle" from last month all the way from Australia. I have included a close up of my first art journal page.  I have seen many of yours as I desk hopped.  I finally started one.  Ad Astra is "to the stars" and Per Astera is "with difficulties.  I like that motto, and thought it appropriate for my journal.  Well that is it for this week.  I need to go to Bible Study this morning and when I get back I will visit you! :)  For more information on this Blog Hop, check out our hostess Julia,  at Stamping Ground.  Hope Julia is doing better this week!

First page of my Art Journal

I thank you for stopping by and for your kind comments.  I will be by to see you, and see what you are doing.  Have a great WOYWW!

170 photos? Good grief, that IS going to keep you busy....fun though, isn't it? And I love the thought of aiming for the stars on a bicycle :-) slower than a rocket but you'll still get there!

You certainly have now got a lot of work on, Sharon, if you are going to scrapbook all those photos! Hope you have lots of inspiration for them all.
Thanks for visiting and for your comments. I do love taking photos, and we have a great DSLR camera, which helps!! Hubby is still very poorly, struggling with breathing, and not feeling up to much at all. Thank you for your prayers for us both. We really appreciate the way Christians right round the globe are upholding us at this time. Thank you!

Looks like you have lots of scraping to do now, Sharon! I love your art journal with that sensational motto. What a great way to start your journal!

I agree the cover is just up my street, love the colour and the bike, I know someone else has said this but it does remind me of ET too.
Happy crafting, Angela x #43

Looks like you're having a lot of fun in your crafting room and a lot of work with all those photos.

Thank you - I'm very improved..you can tell because I'm very frustrated by the time it takes to do anything!! That is a lot of photos friend, you're right, setting yourself up. On the other hand, a handful of LOs at a time and suddenly you're working through them without noticing. Joy!

Your desk is so tidy. It probably won't stay that way once you start scrapping all those pictures! Thank you for stopping by my blog earlier. I hope you will share the pages you scrap with your pictures.
