WOYWW 263

Hello fellow Bloggers!  Welcome to WOYWW at my desk.  Head over to Julia's Stamping Ground for all the details.  This is what my desk did look like last week when I was making a birthday card for my Granddaughter.  I was watching a tutorial every step of the way! LOL  These kind of special cards are not easy for me!  This card is one of the  new Card in a Box style.   I have really drooled over the ones I have seen on other Blogs.  I was recently showing my Granddaughter these cards and she requested one for her birthday.  So, here is my attempt at it! :)  The video showing how is here.

Last week-end,  I participated in Splitcoat Stamper's Virtual Stamp Night and made these cards for the various challenges.  The Believe card was for the VSN A Good Book Challenge, and the top middle one was using the Salted Bachground Technique.  The top right one was for the sticker challenge, for which I used toe/finger nail stickers. :)  The bottom left was for The Hills Are Alive Challenge, and the Queen For The Day Challenge, honoring one of our stampers on SCS.  The one on the bottom right was for the Every Day a Vacay Challenge.  These were all great challenges.

Julia was gone last week. We are so glad to have her back!  I was gone for a different reason.  We took a trip and here is one photo of our road trip! :)

Happy WOYWW!

Thank you for stopping by and for your comments.  I will stop by your space when I can!

I love all your cards, but my absolute favorite is the card in a box that you made for your granddaughter's birthday. It's exquisite, so I'm sure she'll treasure it for years to come. Blessings!

Love your cards! And what a cute Card in a Box. I have yet to attempt one of those. Maybe for my MIL's Christmas card. Hmmm
Sorry I've been lax in getting around, but you know why I've been extra busy these days. :-)
And I have your ATC ready to mail. Creative Blessings!

Lovely pic of you two at Mt Rushmore! That's on my bucket list as a must see :-)
Those pop up box cards are everywhere at the moment, they're clever the way they fold up flat for posting too!

Excellent job on the box card. Aren't they great. I love that they are dimensional but fit in an a2 envelope. :-)

What a lovely portrait of you two, Sharon, with your rocky friends looking on from the background! I'm sorry I'm so late getting back to you and I thank you for your visit to the Playhouse! I think you are too hard on yourself ~ you do NOT write a boring blog! I thought this post was very engaging and enjoyable!

Your popup card for your granddaughter turned out so well! She must have loved it and she'll treasure it always! You are braver than I am, I can tell you; that is just way more work than I want to put into a card, so I admire them from afar! And, my goodness, what an awesome array of fabulous cards from the Virtual Workshop! I'm loving all the inspiration (nail stickers!) and you've reminded me that I have that seaside stamp and haven't used it in dog's years!!

Happy Belated WOYWW! Enjoy the weekend! Hugs, Darnell
