T Stands for Tuesday Over at Elizabeth's

Phi 4:4  Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

It  is time to celebrate Tuesday again over at Elizabeth's Altered Book Lover.  But next week is the real celebration!  A 5th anniversary celebration!  We are doing an ATC swap, and I am ready and have mine made!  It is only the third ATC swap I have ever done, so pardon me if I am excited about next week!

Ok, down to business, I have today's post to do and the T gang are waiting!  Besides making the
ATC today, I also made a couple of Christmas cards and a birthday card.  But before all that crafting, I went for a walk at 7:30 this morning before it got too hot. It is fun to walk in my new neighborhood.  Besides an asphalt bike path, I have discovered at rail trail ; an old railroad that has been made into a bike/walking path.  So, I have some options!  I wear a pedometer and keep track of miles and log them on Walking4Fun.  You can see it on my sidebar.  I am walking the Colorado Trail virtually right now.

The asphalt path

My drink related post for Elizabeth.

This morning I walked on the asphalt path until I came to the rail trail, then I walked it.  I walked three miles today for an hour and I drank this liter of water after I got home!
Thanks for stopping by!  Don't forget about the party next week!

WOYWW 474 New Stash!

Phi 4:4  Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

Hello fellow WOYWW deskers!  Can you believe it is time to show our desks again?  If you do not know what I am talking about, check out Julia's Stamping Ground.

I decided I would just spread out all my new stash from the Scrapbook Expo I attended this last weekend! Some of it was from the classes I took, and some was what I purchased! :)  If you want to see photos of my trip, look at my previous post.

I received a free stamp ad made three 3-D Christmas cards in my Heartfelt class.  I found three 6x6 pads for $5.00 at one booth.  Lots of neat goodies!
Short and simple!

Happy Independence Day to my American deskers!  Celebrate, but stay safe!

Thanks for stopping by!  If I missed you last week, it is because I left town almost immediately after posting.  I will try to see you all this week!  Happy WOYWW!

Tuesday Stands for Traveling Out of Town

Phi 4:4  Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

Hello all!  Welcome to my blog! :)  Elizabeth and several of the other T-gang seem to really have some nice photos of neat excursions.  Finally, I have some to share! :)  This last weekend I got to go to the  Stamp & Scrapbook EXPO.  What fun!  Several of us helped our Fun Stampers Journey coach with her booth at the show.  We helped with the make and takes, of which hundreds were made!  And I even managed to take some classes!

Had to get my nails done to go!

Our booth

Everyone loved our make & Take.
At night they had the Mega Scrap & we sit up our table there for them to come make cards for our service men & women.

Our display.  We made a lot of cards for the service men & women. Our coach provided all the cardstock, ink, stamps and designs, the people who came and made them brought their own adhesive and scissors, and their time. A work of love for our service people.

Our view from the hotel (the airport!)  We would leave the hotel around 8 each morning and usually not get back from the Expo until after 11.!  So this was our view on the Sunday morning before we left.

Me in a scrapbook class.

I made these three Heartfelt cards in one of my classes.  They are 3-D cards with acetate windows and the scene is on the inside panel.
Our reward to ourselves for all our hard work.
We ate in the domed part, just beautiful.

And finally our drinks for T Stands for Tuesday over at Elizabeth's Altered Book Lover. Mine is the lemon water.

Thank you for stopping by.  I wish those in U.S A. Happy 4th of July!

Tuesday, Tuesday, & WOYWW 473

Phi 4:4  Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

Good evening fellow bloggers!  Hi to the Tea gang who are celebrating T Stands for
Tuesday over at Altered Book Lover  hosted by Elizabeth!  Also, a shout out to the
WOYWW bloggers.

I was inspired last week by Jo at Let's Art Journal to do a little art journaling.  She had mentioned For the Boys challenge on Try it on Tuesday.  So this is my late entry.  I have all these mixed media supplies and they just sit, so yesterday and today I played and played!  So an art journal is something I am experimenting with, and if I can link this to her blog.  I have only linked a project one other time to any blog.  So that is an experiment, too!  I was too late, but am linking to Art Journal Journey for Gils, Inspired By Challenge, as suggested by Elizabeth. And I already told you what inspired this art journal page.

I used Liquitex Matte gel for the base. Next layer was some  TH Faded Jeans Oxide ink.   I then stamped some TH images, & then sprayed with Blueberry Shake Memories Mist through a Heidi Swapp stencil..  I told you I was playing!  Next I used a TH stencil and smoothed on some Heidi Swapp art screen ink. The mans face is from Mrs. O'Leary's Artful Illusions, I think.  I have had it for years.  I stamped it in VersaFine Sepia, and used clear EP and heat embossed.  I used a spritz tool to spritz  SU! Chocolate Chip marker  over everything , then added the Washi tape as my finishing touch.

So above  is what is on my desk for WOYWW  over at Julia's..  Now for my drink for T stands for Tuesday:  You see my cup of tea on the table.  These are flowers our former neighbor brought us when she came to visit us in our new home.

Last, here are baby swallows outside our front door, but they are gone now.  They were so cute; I think there were five of them.  We watched mom feed them and then watched as they left.

Scrap Retreat & WOYWW # 472 & T Stands for Tuesday

Phi 4:4  Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

Hello fellow bloggers!  I really have gotten out of the habit of posting to my blog.  But I miss all of you!  I meant to post last week, but I wasn't feeling very well.   I had been to a scrapbooking retreat that week-end and came back with lots of finished pages, but also with a terrible cold and cough.   I feel better tonight, but now hubby has it!  For What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday over at Stamping Ground hosted by Julia I will show you a photo of 21 of 23 pages I finished.  Pretty proud of that number.  I have never done that many pages in such a short time before!

We had our retreat at a wonderful historical three story home.  So, I took the photo of my finished pages on the great staircase.
Also, before I went to the scrapbook retreat my husband and I went out to eat at one of our favorite places, so will post a photo of that for the T gang at T Stands for Tuesday over at Altered Book Lover.

We love the rolls with special butter, peanuts, salad, and ice water with lemon over at Texas Roadhouse!  Who needs the dinner? LOL

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.  I wanted to tell you I found out after my last post that I have not been getting the emails when someone posts, and I have to review them to publish them. For some reason, I got into my blog account and found all of the unpublished comments.   So, I am apologizing if I didn't get back with you.  I now am aware of the problem and will check my blog account.  Thank you for understanding.
Have a great week!

T Stands for Tuesday & WOYWW 9th Anniversary

Phi 4:4  Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

Since moving about 20 miles across town, I have been out of commission for a few months!  I mean, there was the cleaning house, putting it up for sale, selling, packing, moving, unpacking and here we are!  No big deal, only 20 miles, right?  But it is like a whole new town, although only the other side of town! In this town, you are either a Westsider, or an Eastsider.  Well, now we are Eastsiders! :)
We are now discovering all new eateries, new places to shop, new places to get hair cuts, new places to  go to the doctor, etc.  And new craft room! LOL

So, I know different ones wanted to see what my craft room looked like after moving.  So here is my craft room before.
Every thing lined up on two walls.

Now it is in a bedroom with 4 walls, very cozy! Things really are  more handy!  I added my desk, and because of that  lost one storage unit. But was able to utilize the closet.   Hubby, had everything worked out on graph paper where everything would go.  It was like a puzzle and I am pleased with it.  He is too!  Every once in a while I catch him looking in at it amazed that he got it all in!

Above is wall one, that you face when coming in the door.  Notice, I have a window and lots of light! Before, I was in a basement, no windows , always had to have lots of lights on!  Hubby wanted me on main floor, so on bad knee days I wouldn't have to go downstairs.
This is wall 2 , which is to the left of the door.

This is the wall 3  on the wall where  closet door is
Wall 4, to the right of the door.  I was able to place a  unit on end and get more storage space.  More stamp sets and paper on those shelves.

Everything else went into the closet.  I might add this bedroom had the smallest closet in the whole house!  But works well after taking out the rods!
I haven't got everything figured out, but  eventually will.  But I am already enjoying my new space!

Above in a couple of photos is my standard cup of tea for T Stands for Tuesday over at Altered Book Lover,  Hello, T Gang!  Sorry I have been missing!

Below I am showing  my desk with my current project for WOYWW over at Julia's,  We are supposed to show our workdesks!  And it is WOYWW 9th Anniversary!  Happy Anniversary to WOYWW!  I am sorry I have been too busy to take part in the ATC swap.  So check these two blogs out and enjoy!

Have a wonderful week!  Thanks for stopping by!

Thursday? What happened to Wednesday ( WOYWW) & Tuesday (T Stands for Tuesday)?

First of all I apologize to Elizabeth and Julia for being way late!  I was thinking I was just late to Elizabeth', but after writing my post I realized I missed Wednesday, too!  We are in the middle of a downsizing move!  I am moving my 17'x10' craft room into a 12'x13' foot room, however with a regular sized closet also.   What a job it is to pack up a craft room!  It is more than all the other packing!  Well, almost!

So for WOYWW over at Julia's where we share our workspace, here is what mine looks like!

I plan on taking my stuff over like this rather than the movers.

Also, for T Stands for Tuesday over at Bleubeard And Elizabeth's here is my drink.  Forgive me for being late, but with packing I didn't even know it was Tuesday or Wednesday!  I have been drinking a lot of hot tea to keep me going!

Thank you for stopping by!  I will sip my tea for a break and visit you!  Have a great week!
