Tuesday, Tuesday, & WOYWW 473

Phi 4:4  Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

Good evening fellow bloggers!  Hi to the Tea gang who are celebrating T Stands for
Tuesday over at Altered Book Lover  hosted by Elizabeth!  Also, a shout out to the
WOYWW bloggers.

I was inspired last week by Jo at Let's Art Journal to do a little art journaling.  She had mentioned For the Boys challenge on Try it on Tuesday.  So this is my late entry.  I have all these mixed media supplies and they just sit, so yesterday and today I played and played!  So an art journal is something I am experimenting with, and if I can link this to her blog.  I have only linked a project one other time to any blog.  So that is an experiment, too!  I was too late, but am linking to Art Journal Journey for Gils, Inspired By Challenge, as suggested by Elizabeth. And I already told you what inspired this art journal page.

I used Liquitex Matte gel for the base. Next layer was some  TH Faded Jeans Oxide ink.   I then stamped some TH images, & then sprayed with Blueberry Shake Memories Mist through a Heidi Swapp stencil..  I told you I was playing!  Next I used a TH stencil and smoothed on some Heidi Swapp art screen ink. The mans face is from Mrs. O'Leary's Artful Illusions, I think.  I have had it for years.  I stamped it in VersaFine Sepia, and used clear EP and heat embossed.  I used a spritz tool to spritz  SU! Chocolate Chip marker  over everything , then added the Washi tape as my finishing touch.

So above  is what is on my desk for WOYWW  over at Julia's..  Now for my drink for T stands for Tuesday:  You see my cup of tea on the table.  These are flowers our former neighbor brought us when she came to visit us in our new home.

Last, here are baby swallows outside our front door, but they are gone now.  They were so cute; I think there were five of them.  We watched mom feed them and then watched as they left.

  1. What an amazing post, Sharon. Since you were inspired by Jo to create that piece, you might want to join us also at Art Journal Journey, where Gill has chosen the theme Inspired by . . . . It will also give you a chance to log into Inlinkz, in case you want to join us for an anniversary T post. I really like the journal page and hope you will join us at https://art-journal-journey.blogspot.com/

Those swallows are so cute, and your flowers are beautiful. I am also in awe of your new dining room. Thanks for sharing your art, your desk, your dining room, and your tea with us for T this Tuesday.
