I told you last time that this time I would show you what I have been working on. It is a Book of Scraps. I got the idea off YouTube from Treasure Books channel.
I am sorry I did not take photos as I went, only the maybe finished product, because you can keep adding forever. Anyway, you just begin by picking out your base pages, then start gluing scraps on the pages. I provided a link for you to watch the process for yourself. You could make a cover, but I just used the pages. I used 6 8 1/2x11 navy cardstock, as I didn't have good black cardstock. I didn't begin to use all my scraps. I could make these books forever, which isn't a bad idea, because the whole process is very relaxing. I can go back anytime and add more.
1. pick pages
2. glue paper scraps
3. paint or watercolor
4. modeling or texture paste
5. Gold foiling : I used a gold pen
6. sewing and stitches: I don't sew, so I skipped this step.
7. Spraying: I splattered
8. Binding : I used brown waxed binding thread and five-hole pamphlet stitch
9. fabric or lace
10. words/ journaling/ sentiment
11. focal point, something special
12. stickers
13. details-white /black pen/bling

That is my project, not for any challenge or for a gift or anything, just for me, enjoying my crafting.
My ticket to TSFT : I am on Be Real so I can keep up with some of our family. You don't get to see their photo unless you post one. Be real pops up some time during the day, you never know when it will be! Sometimes, I save photos off Be Real, just like a do off of Facebook. Since family isn't here, that is best way to get photos of them! Here is one from last year. I happened to be on a live Zoom at the time.

When you said you used scraps, I first pictured lots of torn up pieces. Then I saw what you made, and I really like it Sharon. I never thought of leaving the base paper exposed like that, so you ended up with a quilt like book. And all your papers are really lovely too. Thank you for sharing Sharon. Sharon, this book is just beautiful! The dark background really shows off those papers!
I have to admit, your scraps are a LOT nicer than my scraps. I love that you used the dark background because it really allows the scraps to pop.
