My verse for the week: Create in me a clean heart, God, and renew a right Spirit within me Ps. 51:10
Welcome to Tea Stands For Tuesday over at Altered Book Lover, hostessed by Elizabeth and Bleubeard!
Thanks to Elizabeth, I will do a post today. I sometimes procrastinate, but Elizabeth needed me to post a message for all her TSFT readers, over at Altered Book Lover.Elizabeth has internet problems and thought she would be up by now, but has been notified it will be a while before she is online again! She had a friend update on her blog about her eye situation as if it were herself posting. But in fact, it was her friend, because she has no internet!
Ok, so she has inspired (LOL) me to post for T Stands For Tuesday, something I haven't done for awhile!(
Here is my drink related post for the day. I had lunch with a pot of tea, before starting this post. I needed nourishment!
Lady Grey, one of my favorite teas, and also a cheddar cheese and sweet pickles on rye. This is my pattern of dishes, Pfaltzgraf Folk Art, retired. But not to worry, I have lots and lots of it!
With this "stay at home", I badly needed a hair cut, so finally went last week. Here are photos of my beautician's decorating for the 4th of July.
Beside her driveway |
In front of her shop |
by her front door |
View from in front of garage to shop |
I love this flag that was in her window |
Parting shot as I left. |
I hope you enjoy her decorations as much as I do.
Tea, photos, and now a craft!
This is made from a panel of a Geli Print made with acrylics and a stencil. Then I used SU! dies to die cut these dragonflies out of glitter paper, and a Spellbinder tag die. I used an oval punch to punch the sentiment which is from a retired SU! set. I am grateful for you stopping by.

Hi nice to see you for T
Love your tea pot, and if I lived there I would for sure schedule a hair cut. mine is soooo bad, but have no place to go yet. Love her holiday decorations-thanks for sharing Happy T Kathy
Everybody's china pattern becomes obsolete eventually. Lucky that you have a lot of that pattern. My stainless tableware is also gone, but a friend found a big stash of it at a garage sale which keeps me going when I lose the odd spoon!
be well... mae at maefood.blogspot.com
It's great to see you posting for T-Day. I've missed you. Thanks for the update on Elizabeth's internet situation. Ugh. I think she said she has ATT, and wow, are they the worst! I like your tea pot. And your beautician's July 4th decorations are fantastic! Happy T-Day! (My T-Day post won't pop out until midnight west coast time, even though I'm on east coast time. :-)
Glad to see you out posting and for T day again too:) I remember all the Pfaltzgraf dishes/patterns very well even though I never had a set myself. So sturdy yet lovely.
Your hairdresser made wonderful patriotic displays for the 4th!
And your card is lovely. Happy T day!
Glad you joined us Sharon. I love that teapot. I have a set of these dishes, although I switched over to some new ones a few years back and my set is boxed up in the basement. Lady Grey is a favorite with me also! Hope you have a great T day and you look great now that you've gotten a haircut. Hugs-Erika
Hi Sharon, good to see you gain - happy T day. Love your teapot, there's a lot of that pottery here in Germany, it's pretty, I have some pieces, too. Your sandwich looks wonderful! Beautiful art, too. Have a good week, take care, hugs, Valerie
I love all those decorations, especially as they´re old and new! Happy T-day (I only knew Earl Grey, nice to know there is a lady, too!)
Hi Sharon, its good to see you here again. I'm joining a few folk and saying I love the teapot you used.
Its good you got a hairdressers appointment , the display looked lovely and welcoming. There are long waiting lists for our hairdressers and not all have opened yet.
Happy T day wishes, stay safe.
Yvonne xx
So glad that you could join us this T Day! Your teapot look amazing and that sandwich makes me so hungry ...lol 😀. I love your beauticians 4th of July decorations, she always does such an amazing job - perfect! I bet it was nice to get your haircut too, our hairdressers have just reopened so I'll need to book an appointment sometime soon 😊. Your dancing dragonfly card is gorgeous, such a beautiful design! Happy T Day wishes! Hugs, Jo x
It's so nice to see you at T, Sharon. Also very nice of you to help Elizabeth and advise all of us.
Your beautician sure is talented. Her seasonal displays are wonderful.
I love the gel print on your pretty card.
Happy T-Day! Hugs, Eileen
I love that you have the teapot in your pattern. I love the festive decorations for the 4th, but I'm not getting a haircut yet ;) Happy T Tuesday
Thanks for keeping us updated on Elizabeth.
I love Lady Grey tea as well...but its too hot for tea right now. Lovely art you made as well.
Happy T Day!
It's great to see you here Sharon! I love your sandwich choice - I am a cheese lover and this is my idea of heaven! Your table ware is so pretty! Pleased you got your hair cut - I am going to wait a while! Your beautician certainly went to town on the decorations! I love your beautiful card - gorgeous colours! Thank you for letting us know about Elizabeth! Happy T Day! Chrisx
I love her displays ~ The planter especially looks so healthy and happy :) You have made a beautiful card using pretty colors, I have this die set too and need to play more with it. Thank you for the inspiration ~ Happy T day!
Cute tea pot! I remember that pattern. I had some Pfaltzgraf a long time ago. A pattern called Hopscotch and I was sad when it was discontinued. Wow, I've never seen anyone decorate for the Fourth beyond a flag or some bunting. My town had a 4th of July decorating contest as the usual activities were cancelled. Your beautician would have one the contest hands down. Happy T Day
I'm finally back online. Thanks for all your help in spreading the word about my problem.
I'm thrilled you joined this week's T party. If you join in ext week, we will use Inlinkz because you can remove your link and start over again if you make a mistake Be sure to use ONLY your name in the "caption" and not your blog post, please.
I've seen that teapot pattern before. I can't believe you have all those matching dishes, including the teapot.
Your hairdresser goes all out for the 4th. I used to do that, but not this year. I just don't feel like it, since I'm not allowing anyone to visit my home this year. She has a really great decorating sense.
Thanks again for all your help and thanks for joining us for T this week, dear Sharon. Great to hear from you again, too.
I'm so glad you could join us, and thank you for giving us Elizabeth's message.
I love your tea pot and the design. It is a design I grew up with, only the crockery was a grey colour rather than the 'buff' colour of yours. If you Google 'Keulse pot' you'll see what i mean.
I remember your hair dresser's decorations. She changes them each season, and they are so much fun to look at. I think you waited on purpose to have your hair done, lol.
Your dragonfly card is beautiful.
Have a good week,
Lisca
Hello, Sharon! It is great to see you posting again. I love your glittery dragonflies with your artistic background. Beautiful color and wonderful layout. Thanks for sharing! Stay healthy.
