T Stands for Tuesday & lots of caffeine!

"He has risen!"  Matt. 28:6

I am really feeling better today!  I even hit all the stores this morning, after I went to the dentist!  I went to Dollar Tree, Joann's, Hobby Lobby, Tuesday Morning, Bed Bath & Beyond, World Market, and Mardels.  I used some coupons at some of them.  I hadn't felt well enough to shop in so long, I made up for it today!  And I got all caffeined up, too!  I have a mug that I fill up with Kruegs at the dentist, you get samples at World Market & Mardels, and did you know my Bed Bath & Beyond has free Krugs coffee or tea.  So, I have had my caffeine for sure and definitely have my ticket to Elizabeth's T Stands For Tuesday tea party!

I wanted to show you how I used another one of my backgrounds I made last week.  Today we had two challenges at SplicoastStampers; one to use watercolor powders and one to make a masculine thank you card.  So this was my submission for the two challenges.

Watercolor paper, Real Red, Island Indio, Base is white from Recollections.

This is the panel and details of making of this panel from last week:

These are the two additional products I used on the card.  I die cut the sentiment with the Tim Holz die cut, and before I die cut it, I applied the Sizzix adhesive to the back of the card stock.  A lot easier to get it on the card, than trying to apply glue to the small sentiment.

Thank you for stopping by!  Happy T Day!

You had a fun shopping day from the sounds of it. And I bet you could use a caffeine jolt after all that. Smile. ANd I love seeing the other card you made and the effects. A little bit different from the last one you showed us, but still very cool. Happy T day Sharon. Hugs-Erika

That's a great card, love the background. Shopping is fun if you feel up to it, I did a bit of shopping yesterday, too, and got some good bargains. And then coffee is a MUST! Happy T Day, hugs, Valerie

It sounds a super shopping trip and something to look forward to doing after a visit to the dentist. The stores providing free drinks must be popular places to visit.
The card you created looks amazing, fabulous effects and colours.
Happy T day wishes.

My sincere apologies. I'm leaving this message for everyone. I had to take my friend Sally to the emergency room Monday afternoon. I stayed with her until the ER doctors ran several tests, then admitted her to the hospital. When I got home, I found my basement was flooded from the many rounds of rain we are having. I'm still getting water out because I have no sump pump. I'll be back by to share T just as soon as I have the water under control, because I don't want mold to set in. For those of you who may not know, Twin Peaks is a sports bar that specializes in busty young, scantily clad female servers.

Hi Sharon, your BG with brushos came out better than mind did,LOL. I have a massive roll of that tape that I keep forgetting to use, as you say it does make it easier for small things, I usually push them trough my mini Xyron machine
Pleased you are well enough to shop until you drop!!

What a fun day! I love how you went prepared for all those samples. Your card is lovely. I have some of those Tim Holtz sentiment dies and I just dug them out recently. They are so much fun to play with and perfect for card making.
Happy Tea Day,
Kate

Sounds like you had a great day even though it involved going to the dentist. Perhaps you do as I do and 'reward' yourself after doing something you really dread.
Your card are fab!
Happy belated T-Day,
Lisca

SO glad to read you are feeling better. I've never heard of Mardels. HMMM!!!

You need to get a few freebies for your birthday. Go to Denny's on your birthday with a paying customer (I assume your hubby) and your grand slam is free. Go to Golden Corral's web site and sign up for their free birthday meal. You have 2 weeks to redeem the meal. Scott and I went, but I didn't take a single photo.

LOVE your latest card. It's a beauty and your use of the adhesive was great.

You had a good choice of drinks to share with us for T this week, dear. I really enjoyed seeing both mugs and of course, your lovely supplies in the background. Thanks for sharing the art and your coffee adventure with us for T this week. SO glad you are feeling better. Now I'm off to make sure the basement is dry for the next round of storms that will be here before 5ish today.
