T Stands For Thanksgiving For My Husband

Hebrews 13:15  "By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name."

Here it is time for our drink related post for T Stands For Tuesday, over at Altered Book Lover with Elizabeth and Bleubeard.  Hello to all the T Gang!
Again, there is so much I am so thankful for this entire year!  God is so good and faithful,  even when I am not.  I am thankful for my husband, especially when he is so good to me.  This past week-end,  I went to a four day Scrap Retreat, while he stayed home and made 10 loaves of pumpkin bread!  Isn't he good?  And, he had dinner ready for me when I got home Sunday evening! But,  I had a wonderful time, and got a lot done.  In fact I got my entire Maine vacation album done, 20 pages!  Here is a photo of all of them, but the ones one the top step don't show up very well.  I didn't realize that until too late.

Since I started doing these drink related posts for T Stands For Tuesday, I have taken more photos of eating out.  I never did that before.  Then, a couple of times I haven't posted and I have these photos building up.  I don't know what I have posted and what I haven't.  But I wanted to share these with you.  Recently, we had to go back on the side of town where we used to live (20 miles across) to run some errands, so we visited one of our favorite places over there.
It has been around for years and is locally owned.  They have really no atmosphere, but are heavy on the comfort food!

My husband and father used meet here for lunch when we were first married.

They have lots of roosters for their dรฉcor.

Comfort food!  They always give you homemade rolls and homemade cinnamon rolls, and then I even ordered bread pudding for one of my two sides!  I took half of this home and the desserts!

More roosters!

I always love looking at the old photos in the lobby.

Cool photos aren't they?

Well,  thanks for stopping by!  For those in the U.S, have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Your husband is a gem. How wonderful of him. A real keeper, too!

You got lots accomplished at your retreat. It turned out amazing. I can tell that made you happy, too.

Sally and I have been to Town and Country, too. I really enjoyed the food and the generous portions. What got me were the photos you took of the old photos under glass. My photos didn't turn out half as good as yours. You must have a fantabulous camera.

Thanks for sharing your scrapbook pages and your trip to Town and Country with us for T this Tuesday. And thanks for sharing your water with lemon, my favorite, too.

You do have a good husband. Mine might stay home but would not be baking pumpkin bread for sure. :) It's nice to get a project completed, isn't it? Have a super Thanksgiving. Hope it is a happy one. Hugs-Erika

A 4-day crafting retreat sounds like heaven to me. Your husband is a keeper ;-) I can't believe how many pages you got done. Good for you, Sharon. They look wonderful.
It's so fun to preserve memories in a physical form. I make travel journals.

First you tell us the restaurant has no charm. Then you show us pictures of the mirrored wall all dressed for fall and the old photos in the lobby. I'd be one to look at those every visit as well. There's something about vintage photos.

Happy Thanksgiving and Happy T-day! Eileen xoxo

Wow, your hubby certainly is a keeper. That is a lot of pumpkin bread. Looks like you did get a lot of scrap-booking pages completed. A very profitable weekend. I wish I made more scrapbooks but I get intimidated with the large space.
I have so much to be thankful for as well. And you are right, God is always faithful when we are not! Thank goodness for that.
Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Tea Day,
Kate

Great pages !!! You are so lucky to have a a husband that knows his way around a kitchen. Mine is barely capable of making a pot of coffee and then only because I refuse to get up at 4am when he does :)
