What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 327 & Organizing Attempts!

Col. 3:16-17 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus giving thanks to God and the Father, by him.

Good morning WOYWW Deskers!  Just a quick shot of my desk.  I am still working on bookmarks for our retreat. And I was trying to reorganize this week.   I purchased a marker holder yesterday, but none of my markers fit in it.  I wanted to put my Copics in it, because right now they are in the old SU! plastic clam boxes.  Remember, I had them in my spice rack on the back of my desk, but they kept falling out the back and then under a cabinet that I would have to move the cabinets to find them? But for now they will remain in the clam boxes because they are too fat.  My SU! markers are too long.  The Sharpies fit, but I never use them much.  And even if you had markers that fit and filled this bag up, then it doesn't shut, because it is  too full.  So, I don't know what markers it is for, but I am taking it back and getting my $8.00 back!  LOL

I have been scrapbooking this week too, so here is one of my pages.
Credits:
The paper is Cloud Nine, and it is two sided and I got it on clearance years ago. The price is 10 cents still on the back. I got a half dozen of these travel sheets to use for our cruise pages. The letters are from a plastic box of letters I bought at a garage sale years ago. And if you recognize the tags they are punch out tags from sheets from SU! years and years ago! Oh and those ribbon sliders are from that long ago from Oriental Trading.  This is a scraplift from a fellow scrapper Anavon for my September Scraplift Challenge on Splitcoast Stampers.

More of our British Isles Cruise.

Thank you for stopping by!  I am off to see what you are doing this week! Happy WOYWW!  Be sure to check out the other deskers at Stamping Ground!

The struggle to find the perfect marker organizer seems like a life long struggle. I have been there! Then I went and spent what I thought was a crazy price over at organizemore.com for ribbon racks, ink pad storage and marker organizers...I have never been happier, everything is accessible and they fit. There are lots of options for copic style markers as well, but everything is so expensive. I am slowly learning though that when I spend the money on good storage, it pays itself off because it means I can find and use the supplies I spent so much money on.
Best of luck with you hunt for something perfect for your space!

Wow! You are using up all sorts of old stash for your pages. That's great! I just finished off some cards from a class that had to be at least 3 years ago but I suspect even longer than that. That is crazy about that marker holder that doesn't seem to hold anything. Happy playing and happy organizing! Judy #38

hee hee I have a stash of those punch out die cut tags from SU too. :) I still use some sometimes. I wish they would make a die for those long skinny tags with the pointy tops someday. I have no clue about the marker case you found sharon. but it cracks me up that the pencil ones are funky too, they sew loops in them and tell you the fit X number of pencils and I am lucky to get half the number in because of the loops. ~Stacy #44

That's a great looking page you designed, with that title made of miniature tags. I'm sorry the Copic marker case didn't work, but at least you can return it. Blessings!
