If you wonder what "Whats On Your Workdesk? Wednesday" is all about check out Julia's Stamping Ground. Here is what part of my area looks like. I am working on my 2014 calendar gift sets. Every year I copy, cut, stamp and color or decorate 15 or more sets to give to friends and family. The first time I give them, I include the acrylic frame. I have it setting on my craft area with 2013 in it, to give you an idea. So once I give someone one, I keep giving them a set every year. After I retired I gave them a few years to my fellow employees, but then finally quit. I would have been up to 25 sets. At 15 or more sets, I have a lot of stamping. I don't make them and then make copies. Each month for each person is an original although each month is stamped the same. 15 sets at 12 months is like making 180 cards! :) After getting all of the months cut, I will begin choosing which stamp I will use for what months. That is the fun part!
I have pictured September 2013, where I stamped leaves on top of script. And I did a snowman for January 2013. Every year I try to do the calendars with different stamps. Sometimes I color with chalks, Copics, watercolor or sponging. I really enjoy doing these calendars. I even make a set for myself, so I can enjoy them all year. :) Anyway this is what I am doing! Now, off to see what everyone else is doing. Happy WOYWW!

Love the calendars! Love that long counter you're working on too. Where did you find calendars to print? I've only been able to find itty bitty ones online. And when I try to enlarge they get all wonky... Happy WOYWW! Nan G #7
My GF did them on her computer and gives me a copy of , then I make copies and cut.
Last year for my birthday, she even did the copying and cutting! Was that ever nice!
Wonderful idea and I am sure they are appreciated very much.

It is a LOT of work, but so precious to your recipients and there is really nothing so good as a beautiful and useful present in one..perfect...worth it.
I love these calendars!
Oh my! You certainly are ambitious that is for sure. I made a calendar set for myself one year and found myself doing the month after the first few days had passed. I certainly couldn't get 15 or more sets down in advance. You rock! I love what you did for September. This is a special gift to give people so they can think of you and crafty-ness all year round.
Ah, I love the calendar idea, what a lovely gift Lx
What a lovely idea. These are going to be very welcome to be sure! Chris77

What a wonderful gift idea. What a nice gift tradition.
the pattern your GF made for you, Is it something that you would be willing to allow to be CASEd? I would like to see if it would be something I might be interested in making for my nieces and nephews . then their mama could make a scrapbook if she wanted .
I am just hopping by to say hello!
