WOYWW 256
Good morning! It is time for What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday! Check out all the desks at Julia's Stamping Ground. I have been scrapping or at least planning pages for this week-end's Virtual Scrapbook Night at Splitcoast Stampers. You can see the pages in the planning stage on my desk, and even some that I did last Sunday. I am using some BoBunny paper that I have had in my stash for a couple of years, or longer than that! About time I used it. My cup of tea is sitting there and also, the phone. I have it on speaker and am talking to my GF as I am taking the photo. See those doily die cuts? Or attempts? The good one was cut on my GF's Big Shot. I guess my Big Shot isn't tight enough. I will have to add shims to make it cut right. Anyone else have problems with the SU! doily die? Please tell me what you do. I am giving you two views. :)
Well, that is it today. Have a wonderful WOYWW! Thanks for stopping by and for your encouraging comments!. Now, I will go visit you and see what you all are doing :)

What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 254
Good afternoon, Fellow Bloggers! :)
I am late posting because I haven't been crafting today. So, here is a photo of cards I did yesterday at a SU! workshop, and a new stamp I purchased. On the right are my first attempts at using Gesso. I used too much as you can see, and it made the card heavy. So, I will take it apart and use pieces of it on some cards. :) I want to take a survey here. How many of you try things, and then don't use the results as intended?
Just thought I would tell you I took my snow photo off too early! It snowed again Monday morning! Can you believe it? Here it is April and the possibility of snow is in the forecast again!
That is it! Thanks so much for stopping by and for your comments on my punch storage last week!
You can stop by Julia's Stamping Ground for all the details about WOYWW.
Have a blessed Easter!

WOYWW 253
Hello Fellow Bloggers! What a beautiful day here! I even changed my background from snow to Spring! Did this without my tech support!
:)
This morning I prayed for energy, and God answered that prayer instantly! I have been cleaning on top of the upper kitchen cabinets and the top of the china cabinet! I have to tell you the dust was deep, and I can't remember doing this recently. I have been retired 5 years, and haven't done it in that time! So, you can imagine how terrible it was! I have the window valences in the washer now, I do wash those every year. It will have to feel cleaner!
All that cleaning, and I forgot about WOYWW! And as you can tell, didn't clean my area. I have been crafting, scrapping, and shopping! I am so happy with my $3.00 pack of 12x12 paper pack, DCWV Tradewinds paper. It is gorgeous and I can't wait to use some of it! Also in the dollar bin, I found a 12x12 sheet with music dies on it. A blogger commented last week about the calendar in the back. That is a fun project we did at the last SU! workshop I attended. I haven't been to any workshops since, and am looking forward to one next week!
I have included a photo of the finished punch racks. My husband got them all hung. So now all my punches are hung, and I cannot buy anymore!!!! Two drawers were freed up, and I have already filled them up, one with my Gelli plate, and the other one with my watercolors.
Have a great week! Thanks for stopping by I look forward to going by and seeing you! Here is a link to Julia's Stamping Ground, where you can read all about the Blog hop she hostesses and visit other Bloggers who show their space. We are a nosy bunch! :)

WOYWW #252
I have been AWOL for the whole month of March! I also haven't done much crafting, but here is my desk showing some new "goodies" I got on Saturday at a local arts & craft store where I went to my second Geli Print Plate demo. They do so many techniques with it. And apparently, you need more than one plate! But, I didn't purchase another one, just bought some more stencils and stamps. Can never have too many stamps! Also, on my desk is an Easter card that I made using some of the first prints I did on my plate. There are two little goodies that a Splitcoast Stamper friend sent me in a swap: A teabag holder, and a little box with a package of gum. Then the mess of paper and bags to your right are kits I am getting ready for our Encouragement Ministry card making day tomorrow.
In the other photo is some new Ikea racks that I haven't put up yet for my punches. A girlfriend was in Phoenix at the Ikea store there and picked me up some racks and two baskets. (one is up, already.)
If you want to know why I am showing you my desk, check out Julia's Stamping Ground.
Well that is it for this week. Thank you for stopping by! :)

WOYWW 247
Good Morning! I just got up, and it has snowed again, so I guess Winter is still here! :)
I missed last week, so not even sure what number WOYWW we are. LOL If you are wondering what I am talking about, hop over to Julia's Stamping Ground for all the details. But it is a fun Blog hop she hostesses every Wednesday! We show each our workdesks. It is fun to see what craft people from all over the world are doing.
Anyway, I have been busy this week doing Love Fest Challenges on SplitcoastStampers. :)
So my area is a real mess. I also am showing you in around about way my first tries at the gelli Print Plate. I think it will take practice. I still plan on using the practice sheets to make cards. Also, I even optimistically purchased some canvass! :)
So here are peeks at my desk, and then below some of the 11 cards I made for the Love Fest Challenges.
I made this card for the Love Fest Simon Says Crazy for Dies Challenge and for the Divine Bible Verse Challenge. This image is one that I bought when I first began stamping over 15 years ago.
The die is Dainty Doily Die-namics from MFT
The cardstock is Gumball Green, and Midnight Muse from SU! The Designer paper is from a KaiserCraft 6" paper Pad called Tea at Elsie's Collection. The charms are from a local arts & craft store.
I made this sympathy card using the Chalkboard technique. I stamped in white craft and colored with SU! pastels. It was submitted for the Perfect Paper Crafting's Lots of Lovely Layers Love Fest Challenge and for the You Can Do It weekly challenge to use the Chalkboard Technique. The sentiment is from Close As A Memory, and the image is from Blooming With Kindness, both SU!

I made this card with My Favorite Things Violin Girl for the
Love Fest My Favorite Things Heartfelt Greetings Challenge.
The one sentiment at the bottom is a SU! sentiment from the set Picture This. I used Spellbinders labels 18 die, and even ran this great Spring colored burlap I picked up at Michaels through with the die. :) The note is from MFT Die-namics set.
The designer paper is TPC Studio.
I made this card with a new technique for me.
It is called Through the Mist. It was done for the Mix-Ability Challenge. I will let you read about it on your own. But after running off the brayer on the cardstock, I stamped my image over the black. Then I masked a moon in silver. Then I sprayed everything with Silver Memory Mist. It really turned out kind of cool. The image is by Stampa Rosa, and the memory verse is from Verve. This was also submitted for the Divine Bible Verse Challenge.
Thank you for stopping by and for your comments. I am off to visit your desks and see what you are doing!

WOYWW 245
Hi everyone! :) I cannot believe how quickly a week goes! We have had 14 inches of snow here in the past week. Today, it has begun go melt a little. And after being "in" for a week, I got out and shopped! :) I went down town to our local craft store and found me a Gelli Printing Plate. Ever since I saw it on one of your workdesks, I have wanted one. I am even going to a demonstration on Saturday! Who knows, maybe I will have a project done with it next week. Anyway, that is one of the new things on my area. I also found some Graphic 45 paper, and a new stamp. Then on the way home from there I went to Tuesday Morning, and they were unpacking these cute little jars of flowers, which I wished I had when I was making my red & Blue scrap page! Well now I have them. I have jars of flowers, but never the color I want. :) That is what cabin fever does to you. You go out and spend, or at least that is what it did to me! But I also got some scrapping done for the Virtual Scrap Book Night on Splitcoast Stampers, and even some cards for Virtual Stamp Night. It all took place this past week-end. So here is a photo of my area, and some photos of the finished products.
If you are wondering about why I am showing you my desk, hop over to Julia's Stamping Ground and get all the information.
So this is what I have done this week, besides my online Bible study, Made To Crave. I am learning that I was made to crave God, not food. Psalm 84:2 "My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the Lord, my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God"
Thanks for stopping by, and for your encouraging comments. I have learned so much from all of you since I started coming to these Wednesday Blog Parties! :) Well, I am off to visit all of you that I can.

This page was done for VSBN Recipe For Love, and February's Scraplift Challenge, and for February week 0ne Stash Buster Challenges on Splitcoast Stampers. The blue printed paper is SU Regal Paper Pack
The rest is just from my stash. A fun page of my 50th High School Reunion. I have several other pages to do that will go with it.
This card was made for VSN Weather Word Play Challenge on Splitcoast Stampers. The cardstock is Marina Mist, Wild Wasabi, Very Vanilla, and Just Add Cake DP, all from SU! The image is also SU! Lean On Me. I colored the image with SU! Pastels. I used the Spellbinders Labels nine die for the layers. The ribbon is just from my stash.
