T Stands for Turning of the Weather

" Break up your fallow ground, For it is a time to seek the Lord, Till He comes and rains righteousness on you" Hosea 10:12 NKJV

Yes, the weather has turned cool after several lovely warm days, as warm as 78!  I have really enjoyed walking the trails.  I think the robins and cardinals thought it was Spring.  It isn't, because I am back to wearing a coat and being cold.

I thought I would take part in the challenge over at Art Journal Journey this month.  Chris who is hostess this month has a theme as Spring Forward.  Although, it doesn't feel like Spring today, here is my project.
These colors had bled through the other side of this page in my journal I have been using. Because of those colors, I found these photos I had taken when my mom was alive.  She had hung this cage out front of her apartment along the walkway.  When she noticed the momma bird building the nest, she asked me to take a photo, which I had to do blindly by holding camera above my head.  Anyway, these were nice memories as I journaled this.
I used stencils on the right side, but the left is the bleed through.  These photos had the colors.  The birdie digital is a Sande Woodson.

I also will be joining Bleubeard and Elizabeth over at Altered Book Lover for TSFT, so here is my ticket.

We recently went out to eat at a restaurant near us called Cheddars Scratch Kitchen.  We had our water with lemon, and I ordered Cajun chicken bowl with beans and rice, and hubby had the Fish & Chips, both lunch specials.  But what we love there are their signature honey butter croissants they bring you right away no matter what you order.  We ate them so quickly there is no photo, unfortunately. You can see the empty plate.  LOL

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great day!  See you next time.

What an absolutely fabulous spread! Makes me quite envious as we have been banned from feeding birds here! I love both your bleed through and stenciling backgrounds. We have just started to have some warmer ( but not so sunny) weather! Thanks so much for this beautiful entry for my AJJ theme, hugs, Chrisx

What a fabulous entry for AJJ. I really like the page that bled. It adds something that can't be repeated. I love the birds and your journaling. You have given us a great first entry at AJJ using Chris's theme.

I've never heard of Cheddars Scratch Kitchen, so looked it up. I liked the veggie Philly cheese steak. I would try that. Thanks for sharing with us for T this Tuesday, dear friend. I'm off to vote in a few minutes then to Spice Merchant, then a surprise I will share next week.

What a wonderful lay-out. I love the story (and the photos). And the bleed through is very expertly used. Well done.
Happy T-Day,

Hi Sharon! I'm so glad to reconnect again with you via blogland. I find your Spring page spread not just beautiful, but also very touching and meaningful. So glad you took those gorgeous pictures, even though you had to hold the camera in an odd position. Happy AJJ!
