T Stands for This & That

4 Delight thyself also in the LORD;
and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
5 Commit thy way unto the LORD;
trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. Psalms 37:4-5

 We still have a lot of snow.  I can't remember when I was away from home.  Maybe when I went to the doctor on January 3rd?  My husband went to the store one day in between our snowstorms and it was terrible out then.  He didn't try going out anymore except to shovel.  Our neighbor shoveled the first snow, but hubby has been doing it since.  He has our driveway clear, but our deck is a lost cause because the sun never hits it.

I have been working on a scrapbook layout today, even playing with stencils and modeling paste. The photo shows how much the snow was coming down on Thursday, January 9th.  I couldn't even get the door open!

Now for my ticket to TSFT over at Altered Book Lover with our hostess Elizabeth, and our host Bleubeard. We have to include a drink reference on our blog post as an entry to her blog hop party. This is difficult since we haven't been anywhere.  I will dig into my archives.   Here is a photo of a teapot card from 2016! LOL  You are invited to stop over and visit the ones who link up to the party.

Thanks for stopping by.  Please leave a comment so I know you were here.  I really appreciate it. Hopefully, I will see you next week!

Although it isn't a record snow, it is still monumental. I also haven't been anywhere since the ice and snow immobilized the city. I was watching KSN one afternoon when they announced the owner of the property could be fined if someone fell because the snow (or ice) wasn't removed.

What a great layout. I like your snowman and the rick rack. I also like the way you used the modeling paste. I was lucky that I have a large porch, or I might not have been able to open my door, either.

What a "charm"ing card you created for T this week, Sharon. Thanks for the snow shots, the layout, and your card for T.

That is a lot of snow and your husband must have worked hard to get all this shoveling done. It looks like he's the only one in your neighborhood. Your scrapbook page is perfect for this post, and a nice "drink". Happy T day!

Love the background for your scrapbook layout.

This year so far we had near to no snow. Eeek, I remember 1977, I (was still a kid and) could not see the other side of the street, that high the snow was piled up! We wore socks over our shoes to not slip so much.
But... it looks pretty!

Snow is pretty but it makes a lot of work. Especially when it's not fluffy. Sounds like you're having a quiet month with the weather. I hope you have a great T day, and I agree, that is a nice scrapbook layout. hugs-Erika

That is a lot of snow! Is it compulsory to clear your drive? Because you won't be going anywhere in this weather. But very good of your hubby to do it. It can't be a pleasant job. We haven't had snow for 4 or 5 years now. In the village that is. In the mountains there is a lot of snow. Fortunately as Granada has a ski resort.
Scrapbooking! I haven't done it in years! Really must start doing it again as I enjoy doing it. Your page is lovely.
Happy T-Day,
Lisca
