T Stands for Trail Fun

1 Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. Philippians 3:1a

Hello everyone!  It is a gorgeous day here!  57 degrees F!  I walked earlier, and yesterday, too.  The only downside is the wind, and it is cold when it blows!  But I enjoyed walks, Saturday, Sunday, & Monday.  I love it when I am able to get outside.  I didn't take any photos, but I have photos of an off trail walk I took when my hubby was doing physical therapy.  I had walked over to an office park area near by, where they had a walkway that was nice except for the bridge.  I will share these photos from June 27, 2021.

A nice little walkway until you get to the bridge.

When I got to the bridge, I saw this no trespassing sign and below I took a photo over the sign, and this is why there is no trespassing.  I held the camera above my head to get this shot over the sign.  I guess we won't go any further this way.  We will go back the way we came.

I walked the other way around since I couldn't cross the bridge, and below is the cute little statue.

It was a nice walk, even though I could not go across the bridge.  I like to find different places to walk.

Today it is time for TSFT, our tea party over at Altered Book Lover with Bleubeard & Elizabeth.  They hostess T Stands For Tuesday every week. We post something related to a beverage in our post and then we can join and see what all the other bloggers are doing.  Sometimes, we find a new brand of beverage, or a recipe, or a book or film review.  We just share all kinds of interests, and of course artwork!

This card was one of my Dirty Dozen cards while I was on the design team.  We can't share them during our 6 months on the team but can after.  So here it is.  I used Night Of Navy & Kaiser Kraft Designer paper.  The stamp set is from Fun Stampers Journey.  I was inspired by my teapot.

That is it for today.  Have a wonderful week!  Thanks for stopping by.

  1. Loving your teacup card!
A very interesting walkway and statue that you found. I can imagine that was an expensive walkway not only because of the materials but because they were engraved.
    Happy Tea Day,
    Kate

  3. one of our favorite walking trails has a bridge that looks like yours, with a big barrier. It's sad because it means walking an extra mile to go into a very nice wooded area. It's been out for a couple of years, and they are just getting funded to rebuild it after a lot of "studies." I hope yours is fixed faster.

Lovely tea card but odd that you can't share during your months on the team.
    Happy T day!

  5. Somehow I slept through the beautiful part of the day on Saturday. Sunday I spent with my friend Scott who brought lunch from College Deli. Then he set up my ROKU. I'm hoping to cut the cable cord by the end of February, but not before then. No time to play with it this next month.

I can see why they have boarded up that bridge. It's really scary. Nice you were able to get a photo of the damage, though.

Your card is superb. I really love the colors, the design, and the tiny cups you added to the teapot. I also love your real teapot. It was so sweet of you to share it and your walk with us for T this almost Tuesday, dear friend.

  6. I'm with you about waking, but lucky you to have 57 degrees. I am jealous; we've barely made it over 20 degrees here most days. Enjoy that weather. And I love that quote on your T day card. It is perfect for T day. Nice card too Sharon. Have a super T day and week ahead. Hugs-Erika

  7. I like your tea card! Your walk looks nice, too, except for the bridge - no, you better not cross that! We have had some unseasonal warm days as well with temps in the lower sixties - it's crazy!

  10. Such beautiful views, it's lovely to see the sunshine and greenery too 😀. The pathway is fabulous and what a lovely way to remember loved ones; to be honest it bought a tear to my eye with my dad passing away just before Christmas. Loving your teatime card too - gorgeous! Happy T Day wishes! Hugs Jo x

  11. Our weather yesterday sounds like yours. We got a high of 60 :) but today's highs are in the 30s.

That's a nice little park. The bridge will be nice when it gets fixed. Going back over the same ground isn't the best outcome, but I love what you saw. Pretty lake and the fun statue...

    Happy T Tuesday!
