T Stands For Thank You

"Let my mouth be filled with thy praise and with thy honor all the day." Ps. 71:8

Hello!  It is time for TSFT and for Tag Tuesday.

First things first: I just read Elizabeth's post for TSFT and she said she had happy mail and was excited about it, but I had a happier sack from her!  It was full of goodies! I am overwhelmed with her generosity.  I will put these to good use.  In fact, I made Elizabeth's thank you card and today's tag out of one of the card bases.  She gave me five packages of  beautiful cards with envelopes.  The envelopes I will definitely use for all my handmade cards, and the bases have printed design on both sides of the card, so that will be a lot of backgrounds.  Or, I can always use as is!  Also there was an opened package of Michaels larger bases and envelopes. I think I will be sharing some of this, too, as that is more than I will ever use.  Now you can see her happy mail was small compared to my sack of goodies!  Thank you Elizabeth for your thoughtfulness.  Now, if we could just do something about the postal system!  I might not walk over with your next card, but I will drive it over!

Here is my tag for Tag Tuesday.  The theme is tag on a tag. I punched both tags with my SU! Punch.  I used a scrap left over from cutting the card for Elizabeth.  I mounted it on a scrap from my scrap drawer.  I punched the leaves from a scrap on my desk, and added a flower and gem.  I punched the butterfly from a scrap and used a gel pen around the edges.  Also, I attached a scrap of ribbon to the tag.  You sense  I have a theme, too, using scraps?  I will probably use this in one of my Junk Journals.

Here are some photos of my walk yesterday at the facility where I take my husband for his Physical Therapy after his hip replacement.  FYI, my husband is doing fabulous!  Just a month ago yesterday he fell, and had the surgery, and he is already working with a cane at PT!  Lots of prayers and answered prayer is responsible.  So, I do praise the Lord.

As you drive into the facility, this is what you see.

I walked the parking lot which is huge, then in back where there are a couple of ponds.

There are several of these bird houses around the ponds, not sure which kind they are for.

This is the sign you see as you drive out.

The above is my ticket to the tea party.  I have my tea, but also my water, as I have already had my walk today, and even though I went early, it was already hot, hot, hot!  :)

I hope you have a wonderful week.  Thanks for letting me join in even thought I am a tad late , but it is Tuesday morning here!  Thanks for stopping by.

I'm happy for you both that your husband is doing so well. That medical facility looks like it provides for the spirit and soul as well as it provides for the body. What a lovely setting!

Happy T Tuesday! (you don't look late to me lol)

It sounds like both you and Elizabeth had a nice switch off of useful supplies. And you are right, I think you should drive it over next time. Glad to hear your husband is doing well, and I like your walking spot. Stay cool, and hope it was a great T day Sharon. hugs-Erika

Sorry I'm late visiting. Life got in the way today. I went to Sam's on Maise with Sally who has a membership. It was hotter than hot and walking in the parking lot was brutal. Got my cat litter, though, which I had been told the last time we went they had discontinued. I was truly dancing in the aisles.

I'm glad you like your cards. They were no use to me. I can see them being used in your junk journals, though.

What a beautiful place for your husband's PT. Much nicer than the place out west Sally went when she had both knees replaced. SO glad your husband is doing well and I can tell he is very determined.

You found a beautiful place to walk. I am glad you got there early because as the day progressed, so did the heat. Loved your mug of tea and it was great with water, too.

Thanks for sharing your tag, your walk around the pond, your water, and your tea with us for T this Tuesday, dear.

Hi Sharon, thanks for your visit, I’m so pleased your husband is doing so well, you’ve obviously been looking after him well!
The post here is awful, I posted two cards about six weeks ago and they still haven’t arrived and our son in SF sent our anniversary card two weeks before and it still hasn’t arrived!
Your tag is very pretty, love the colours on the DP. What a lovely surprise to get a package from Elizabeth, I think you are right it would be quicker to drive across town and post them, cheaper on postage too!
Lovely to see you Sharon, enjoy the rest of the week
Hugs, jan x

Sharon, I am so happy to hear that your prayers are being answered. The Lord looks after all of his children. What a beautiful and peaceful walk you must have experienced. I am delighted for you. The mail service is terrible everywhere, no matter where you live. Sometimes my mail gets really close, maybe 30 miles away and then it is sent out of state for some reason. There is no rhyme or reason for this madness, except that they have all of the control. If it is very important, you have to fed ex it or send it priority mail...otherwise you take your chances. Thanks for sharing and letting us see the wonderful gifts you received. Enjoy them!
