It also was fun to have a new place to walk. We had the retreat in an old Victorian house and there are several old restored homes in the neighborhood. I took lots of photos to share of my walk. I finally remembred to take my camera the last day!
These two houses were my favorites.
Love the screened in porch on the side.
And the large wrap around porch!
And the upstairs, that round window upstairs front!
This next house had spectacular landscaping.
Notice the shaped bushes between the sidewalk and street.
Great potted plants on that porch!
Great iron fence and posts.
Fountains and water treatments.
I just had to photograph this bottle tree next to the porch on another house!
Then I went to the city park:
I wanted to go through the arbor path, but there was always someone sitting in there or sleeping in there! So, I was a little anxious about walking through it.
Below you can see the courthouse in the background.
I hope you enjoyed the walk. I got 15000 steps that day!
Above is the house of our retreat. I enjoy coming out on the porch in the mornings for alone time.
And for the T Gang and for Elizabeth over at Altered Book Lover where she is celebrating T Stands for Tuesday here is my submission. Here is a photo of a tea card from my archives.

What a quaint little town you stayed in. Love the old houses and mature trees.
Lovely card too!
Happy T day!
Those are really pretty homes. It is fun to see photos from your blog and also from Elizabeth's to see what Wichita is like. And scrap till you drop sounds fun too. But I hope you didn't drop. Happy T day Sharon. Hugs-Erika
Where was this, Sharon? I know it wasn't Wichita. At least I am pretty sure I know where all the grain elevators are in town.
Since you weren't here last week for T, do you want to create an ATC to send to another T Tuesday player? One ATC is all you need to make, and I would love for you to join us in a Pay It Forward type swap.
Lovely town photos and homes to die for. Of course, the tea card is out of this world, too. Thanks for sharing this with us for T this almost Tuesday, dear friend.
That's a wonderful place you stayed at. The homes there are so pretty, love the style. And I'm sure you enjoyed scrapping and being in company. Have fun with the new goodies you bought. Happy T Day, Valerie
