What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 362 & More Scrapbooking

Hebrews 11:1  "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

Good morning WOYWW deskers!  Thank you for letting me be part of this blog community.  Also thank you for your comments when you stop by.  That is how we communicate at this international blog hop.  It is so fun and I really enjoy it. Okay, down to business!  If you don't know what I am talking about, skip over to Julia's Stamping Ground and check out WOYWW, and the other deskers.

Here is what is on my workdesk this morning.  I have been scraping for Virtual Scrapbook Night May Challenges over at SplitcoastStampers, and this is what is left after I was finished some pages yesterday.  Also, on my desk you will notice a new addition, a white storage cube that came with a lazy susan like turntable.  I got it Saturday at a garage sale for $3.00!   I decided to store my SU! dies and Embossing Folders in it so they would be handy, and there are drawers on the bottom, where I stored some other brand dies.  I thought this was a great find.  I don't look for garage sales, but if I see one when I take my walk, I stop.  I found this and some white book-ends too, which I am using with my notebooks for my Spellbinder dies. I had to ask the lady to hold these for me, and walk back home and get my money.

I scrapped these pages yesterday. Trying to get
past years caught up.  I used BoBunny papers and cordinating stickers for the title on this layout.  I used SU! butterfly dies and SU! punches.  See, I am already using my dies more since they are right there by my work area.
On the layout below, I used a bookmark I got in Alaska for the title on one side and I used a ticket punch for the date that the ranger had stamped on a piece of paper the date we ere in Glacier Bay.  I also used our tickets from the gardens in Victoria on the other side and a copy of the cruise paper for the date of the cruise.  I like using actual memorabilia from our trips.

That is what is going on in my space! Thank you for stopping by!  Happy WOYWW!

Hello Sharon. What a useful storage cube. Fantastic. Well found!! When we visited Canada for our Silver anniversary we couldn't manage to get up to Alaska, and didn't get on to Victoria either - which was such a shame, as they were places we hoped to go. Did lots more exciting things, though!!! The pages are a beautiful reminder of your trip. Well done.
Take care. God bless.

That white cube was a great find! Well done you!
I love your lay-outs. The one about the stamping is great, I like the stitching and the butterflies. The Alaska double page is beautiful. Great that you used the tickets. What a lovely memory.

Nice buy from garage sale. I love going to them. Went to a bunch on Saturday but didn't find a lot at all. Nevermind, I am sure there will be a lot more this summer.

Nice scrapbook page. I keep meaning to pull mine out especially when I see so many people with wonderful pages, but time seems to just fly by!

Have a great week

I really like all your awesome pages, especially the detailing on the "Girls' Weekend" page. I like having my tools and materials as visible as possible too, or I forget I have it. Blessings!

Great layouts, Sharon. You always do such pretty ones. And I love that you use the memorabilia on your pages. Great shopping find! I don't think I'd find those kind of buys on a walk in the boonies. LOL Creative Blessings! Kelly #42
