1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
2 My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. Psalms 121:1-2Good afternoon, readers! It is a beautiful sunny cold day here; too cold to go out walking. It is all the way up to 28 degrees Fahrenheit. Great day for cleaning & crafting. I have been throwing out a few things, trying to purge my craft room. You crafters know how that is going. Not! Anyway, on the way to purging a drawer broke the track it was on, fell out and broke again. Hubby was able to fix pretty quickly. I was impressed. But that slowed me down. All the throwing out began when I was looking for the stamp of a Bible verse I wanted for my journal page. Any cleaning here always begins with me looking for something! As you can see, I found the stamp. I thought it was an Our Daily Bread stamp, but it turned out to be a Verve stamp. Do either of those companies exist anymore? Have you noticed how many of our crafting companies are closing? Maybe because we all have it all! LOL
Here is my journal entry for Erica's (aka BioGirl) What's Up Art Journal Journey Challenge for January. I found these photos from 1971 of Canada mountains and decided to put them on here and pair with the Bible verse. The pages were done with a watercolor wash and then spattered with Fun Stampers Journey silks. (Another company that is no longer in business) OH, and the stamped Look Up is stamped with Close to my Heart alpha stamps! (no longer in business). I used a ACOT Sketch.
Sorry it is blury. This was an event we went to when I was still in my sling after shoulder surgery last April.
I took out time to do the journal entry and post here but really want to get back to another book I am reading. I am reading while I can, because it seems like I get too busy to read later in the year.
Thanks for stopping by. Happy T Day.

Thank you for this nice post Sharon ialoha friend
Hi Sharon. I know what you mean about what starts cleaning. It happens to me too. :) And that is a loving journal spread. It looks beautiful in your photos, and I love how they are the old square format. It looks like you had a super trip. Thank you so much for linking up to AJJ. It's much appreciated. I hope you have a super T day and week ahead too. hugs-Erika
I try to sort out, too, oh, what a pain!
Nice to meet you in person :-)
Have a great T-Day.
Happy Tuesday! Lovely quotes, they bring joy and peace in my heart. Thank you for sharing your wonderful blog post. I love your artbook and photos! lovely! You look fabulous! :)
I had to smile when you start sorting and throwing out stuff when you're looking for things. I do that too.
I love those mountain photos. And of course that verse is very appropriate.
How is your shoulder now? Do have to have physiotherapy? Or do exercises? Wishing you all the best with your shoulder.
Happy T-Day,
Lisca
Pretty water color background. I love the mountain views!!
Wonderful journal page with great photos!!!
I'm waving to you, hugs Elke
Hi Sharon! I love your gorgeous double-page art journal spread! I especially like your beautiful photos, your title, and the tag with the stamped Bible verse! I'm so glad you found it. (I’ve always felt like I’m the only one who knows about losing things in a cluttered craft room, but it seems other crafters are going through the same thing. Thanks for helping me feel a little better!) In addition, I love the photo of you - I'm glad you've recovered from your shoulder surgery. Take care! Best, (The other) Sharon
Nice works dear Sharon - I had to check what temperature in Celsius it is...Not too cold I would say LOL.
Thanks for your kind visit to my blog.
All the best
Violetta
Haha, Sharon, I know that feeling: Every tidying-up session starts with me looking for something, too 😂! We have a saying here, though: "A tidy person is just too lazy to look for things" 😉 (I don't know if there's a similar saying in English...). The nature impressions on your page are absolutely beautiful.
All the best from Austria, Traude
