"Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine." Isaiah 43:1 b
Hello! Today is cool but beautiful out. I even got an afternoon walk before the sun started to go down; it does that earlier now! I have been creating tags for a tag swap in our Juliette's Jewels a sideline of our Julie Dear Julie junk journaling. I decided to make them mini journaling tag booklets
This is the front of tag one: with fabric, napkin, stamped sentiment, brad, tie, charm.
Tag one: showing the front and back. I connected the tags with the fabric to make a tag journal. Stamped and torn image glued on the fabric. I also put journaling paper in middle and sewed in.
Notice the leaf! It is one of my leaves that I preserved with modge podge a couple of weeks ago.
Tag one open: I covered inside of one with scrapbook paper and the other side with music paper. I stamped and tore an image to lay over the tag, and added a stamped die cut leaf and squirrel brad.
Tag one center showing how I did the signature of journaling papers.
Tag 1 showing the side with a pocket for goodies for the recipient. I added goodies when I mailed them.
Tag 2 showing fabric , napkin, charm, brad and twine for closing. Also shows speckles of gold which I sprayed on.
tag 2 showing back and front and how I connected with the fabric to make a journaling tag and the sewn signature. Stamped and torn images on both front and back. lace on both.
Tag 2 inside: Covered left with music paper and right with the scrapbook paper. Stamped and torn image on left.
Tag2 showing right side of inside. Pocket with stamped die cut leaf and lace. Again before I mailed I included several goodies.
Tag2 showing journaling pages in center.
I had fun making these and followed a tutorial on You Tube by Graphic Fairy. It is called a tag mini booklet for a junk journal.
I am joining Bleubeard & Elizabeth over at Altered Book Lover today for T Stands For Tuesday, a little tea party we have every week. We only have to have a drink related item in our post to join in the fun, and you are welcome to join us.
Here is my water on my bench on the Red Bud Trail.
Would you believe they decorated my trail for Halloween?
Happy Trails to you! Thank you for stopping by. I appreciate it and hope you are inspired to create or to walk. :) Happy T Day!
