T Stands For Truly Merry Christmas!

Isa 9:6-7 "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given:
and the government shall be upon his shoulder:
and his name shall be called
Wonderful, Counsellor,
The mighty God,
The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace"

Welcome readers to another TSFT.  We are again getting together with each for a sip of our favorite beverage over at Altered Book Lover with Bleubeard & Elizabeth.  As this is a scheduled post, I cannot link here; but you will find the TSFT link on my sidebar.  Feel free to join us anytime. Find out all about it over at our hostess's.

It is all about Christmas and the birth of our Saviour this week.
Here is a photo of my newest manger scene.  It is real sparkly, but the photo isn't good.

I took more photos at my beautician's place again.  She does such a great job of decorating.

She even decorates towards the ceiling!

She has such a flare for it.  I enjoy seeing here decorations every month.

Below:

I made some last minute Christmas cards last week to send out.  I made several variations of White on White cards.  The base was white,  then I used a Stephanie Barnard Sizzix pierced rectangle  framelit to cut the layering  panel, which had been embossed by SU!'s Softly Falling Embossing folder.  On that I put the Tim Holtz cut deer from Recollections Glimmer paper, and the Noel is also cut from glimmer paper.  The Noel is a framelit from Wonderful Wreat set by SU!

The last thing I will share today is  the tea that I am siping today.  It says Iced Tea, but I am just drinking it hot. Very good that way.  I have no idea where I got this.  Someone must have given it to me.  And you see it is in a natural unbleached bag.

Thank you so much for stopping by!  I wish you all a Happy T Day, and a Merry Christmas!

  3. A very merry Christmas to you, too, dear Sharon. Aren't you glad I didn't call today (GRIN)? Beautiful nativity scene. And your hair dresser definitely has a flare for decorating. She probably has a room (or building) to store all those things she uses each month. I loved those skinny trees. I'd love to find one.

Your card was adorable. You sure know how to use your die cutter to its fullest potential.

OMGosh. I want round tea bags. And this one is even unbleached round. I bet I could make fabulous art out of that one since it is black tea, too. It's too bad you have no idea where you got it. Its perfect for T Tuesday, too.

Thanks for sharing your nativity, your hairdresser's decorations, and your tea and teabag with us for T this almost Tuesday, dear friend. Have a fabulous Christmas, too.

  7. I love seeing all of the Christmas decorations. And what a good idea, to get more manger scenes. I have one Nativity (that was very hard to find the year I was trying to buy one), and now when I see them in the stores, I admire them, but think, "you can only have one." I have a secondary space where I could put another one! And the birth of Jesus is what Christmas is all about. Your card looks lovely. I have that same tea packet: mine came as a free sample in The Republic of Tea catalog. Merry Christmas and Happy T-Day!

  12. Your beautician really does beautiful decorations. Very tasteful.
That tea looks interesting. Yes, the bag has no plastic in it, as recently we have been made aware that some tea bags are made of plastic.
Your white-on-white card is stunning. Well done.

  15. I realize you can't join us for T this Tuesday, but I'm sending you some T Tuesday love and wishing you a very happy New Year, too. No sense telling you to make sure it's safe, because that ship has sailed, I'm afraid. Hope you aren't in too much pain, dear.

  16. Sharon, I'm so so sorry to hear that you broke both wrists!

My hubby broke both wrists about 15 years ago. I remember how hndicapped he was and having to help him with so many things. One night, as I cut up his meat for dinner, he asked me, "What's it like having a baby in the house again?"

I hope you heal quickly. In the meantime, I'm keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

    Hugs, Eileen

  20. Sharon - I am so sorry to hear about your accident. How awful. I hope it's a short recovery time, but I'm thinking it will be on the order of weeks for the bones to heal. :-( I hope you had a nice Christmas, and that this didn't happen until afterwards. I said a prayer for you. - Anne

I'm offering you a virtual cuppa as we celebrate T Tuesday on this New Year's Eve. I look forward to your return to blogging.
