T Stands for "The Art Park"

Phi 4:4  Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

It is almost Tuesday again, and I am joining the Tea Gang over at T Stands for Tuesday hosted by Bleubeard & Elizabeth at Altered Book Lover!  As you know we recently moved to the other side of our town, so I am getting to know this side.  I still take wrong streets and end up going the long way to the doctor or a store, because of course,  we got all new on this side. So, that is how I found The Art Park!
I never knew it existed.  And you notice it right away with all those colorful pianos!  And I am thinking, what a great way to use old pianos that can't be used any longer!

Love all those instruments in that piano!

Aren't these great?  I love all the bright colors!

I want to go to school there!

And it even has a library!

How could I live in this town most of my life and have never seen this?

And since I am supposed to have a drink related post, here is the first teapot I ever bought; the one that started it all.  I bought this back in 1995 in Estes Park, Colorado.   My collection grew quickly from that point on, until I had to tell people quit giving me teapots!  LOL  They take up too much room!

And here I am having tea with my granddaughter back in 2007 in Estes Park, with yet another teapot that I bought there on that trip! . When she was younger, we were always having tea parties.
The whole family stayed in this cabin for a week, like a mini family reunion.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I love reading your comments.  I just feel like I am getting to know the Tea Gang, even though most of you are many miles away.  Have a great Tea Tuesday!

  2. Sharon another lovely teapot! What a great park and all those amazing coloured pianos, I especially love the one with all the other instruments sticking out of it and the drum kit too. I have seen something similar to that library but I can’t remember where, that will be going round in my head now until I remember!
    Have a great Tuesday,
    Jan x

  3. OMGosh. I am also in shock. I never knew about the Art Park either until you mentioned it. Now I must find it, too. It sounds like a great place to leave your old instruments (grin). Actually, I want to meet the Bug Lady. Sounds like a great place. SO glad you found it.

That's a fabulous first tea pot. It is beautiful. Once someone becomes aware you own something, you start getting inundated with them. It's a thoughtful gift and one that people know you will accept. Unfortunately I can't give any of my rocking horses away because they are my babies. I can understand (I think) how you could be overwhelmed with tea pots, but I'd be hard pressed to get rid of any. I certainly LOVED the photo of you and your granddaughter. It was perfect tea party. Thanks for sharing it with us for T this Tuesday, as well as Art Park, too.

BTW, that's the real fun of T Tuesday. Even though it's a cyber meeting we all spend the day catching up on each other's lives and drinks. It's a fun day where there are no real expectations, but real camaraderie.

  5. Tea parties with your granddaughter must have been fabulous. I wonder if you kept this pot-but I image the picture of just the pot is a new one. I don't think I could get rid of it if it was the first one or if it had so many fun memories. And the art park sounds cool and like you I would want to go to school there also. Learn something new and fun. Hope you have a wonderful T day and stay cool. Hugs-Erika

  6. It must be fun exploring and making new discoveries, and that's a cool Art Park! The pianos look fabulous in all their bright colours 😁. They reminded me a piano in a public garden nearby which has been planted, it also has a panel of urban art (butterflies) on the back, it looks so pretty! The little library and school are fabulous and I adore your teapots! Such happy memories too, how lovely to have tea parties with your grandchildren 😀. Happy T Day! J 😊 x

  12. What a fun discovery, Sharon. I'd sign up for the first three listed classes in a NY minute. What is it they say about residents and tourists? Something about the tourists see all the sights that the residents don't. That's a great park.

What a sweet tea party photo of you and your granddaughter.

It's really nice getting to know you at tea ;-)

    Happy T-day! Hugs, Eileen

Adorable to have tea parties with your granddaughter. And that teapot is sweet, too. Make me think of having tea with my Auntie. Happy memories. 16. I am loving your enthusiasm for your new neighbourhood! What finds too! Those classes sound fun! I remember when we moved here from only a few miles away how happy we were to find that we could walk to the next village along the river and that there are bluebells in a wood right alongside the main road! Enjoy your walks, there must be so much to find! Have a great week! Belated Happy T Day, Chrisx
