Z For Zebra & WOYWW 371

Hebrews 11:1  "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

Hello, everyone!  WOYWW Greetings to all the deskers!  Oh, I just read the great news over at Lunch Lady Jan's!  Julia will be in charge again  and we will be back at her place next week!  That is good news, because it means she must be feeling good again.

Well, I crafted at church today and we ladies finished 40 cards in an hour and a half.  ( and we were few)  So, I came home all ready to craft.  I put supper in the crock pot and came down to my craft room and even finished a card! Below is a photo of my desk since that is what we are supposed to be showing.  Also, below is a photo of my card I made this afternoon.  One thing I learned is my hands are not as flexible as they used to be!  It took me an hour to get those 6 beads on that floss!    But I like them on there.

Oops!  My cup of tea even got into the photo!

This card was for our Alpha Challenge on Splitcoast Stampers.  It was a double challenge.  We are on Z but we were also to take our zip code, add it up and then use the corresponding letter with what the total was.  My letter ended up being R.  So I used red card stock and red beads.

Thanks for stopping by!  Thank you everyone who commented last week! You made my week!
Have a great week!

Sounds like you got a lot of cards created! The card you made at home looks wonderful. Where the cards you made at church for a special reason?

Have a great week

Christian art groups can be very invigorating, so I can see how you got 40 cards done in an hour and a half. It may have taken you an hour to put the 6 beads on the floss, but it was worth it, because they were the perfect finishing touch. Blessings!

Oh, the beads definitely make a difference - it was worth the hassle getting them onto the floss! I like that card very much, you don't often see that colour combination, it's smart :-)

They were for our Encouragement Ministry. We made "Praying for you" cards and some "Welcome"cards for new members. We put them in goodie sacks that we give new members.
