The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. Titus 2:3-5
I am going for the gold today with Sandy Allnock! I was inspired by this card for
Going for the Gold Day 6. Hers was so adorable. I went with what I had even though I had to hunt for an hour to find this set of penguins. And all the time it was out on a table with a piece of paper on top of it!
The gold on my card is what I had: Metallic Lustre by DecoArt. (Gold Rush) It is like a cream in a jar, and thought it would work, and I was happy with it. I applied it with a sponge applicator. I used texture paste for the snowflakes. And I punched a paper with my snowflake punch for a stencil. The penguin stamp and die set is Hampton Art. I used a SU! window punch to punch out the Teeny Tiny Merry Christmas by SU! The backing for that is punched with another SU! punch. I don't know who makes the tiny brads I found in my stash. The snow Flurries EF i used on my base is by cuttlebug. My penguins are colored with Copics.
If it hadn't been for Sandy's inspiration, I would not have tried this. I had this paint and the texture paste in my stash, but was not using them! Check out
