WOYWW 271 & Card Making Marathon

Happy Wednesday fellow Bloggers! Here we are again! I just had a terrific card making marathon week. Splitcoast Stampers hosted Dare to Get Dirty Challenges  for all the Fan Club members.  It was like Christmas for all of us.  We had 8 days of challenges, for a total of 49 challenges.  There were technique challenges, sketch challenges and  color challenges, just to name a few.   I got to play with all my "stuff".  I stamped with stamps that hadn't seen ink yet, and used tools I hadn't used yet and used embellishments that hadn't been opened yet.  I made some great cards, but even better, I have sent at least 10 of them off already.  Some are for future birthdays of friends, and family and some are even Christmas cards.  It feels great to have had all that fun and to have these cards as a result.  Thank you to SCS and all the hostesses for a fabulous week of fun!  I feel like not only did I have fun, but I accomplised something.

These are 4 I mailed off before all the cards were done.

Made with  Our Daily Bread stamps & a MFT Die

Loved using this color combo

Thank you all for stopping by, and I will try to get by to see you  this week!  Sorry if I missed you last week.  I was trying to get all those cards done by the deadline! :)  Happy Whats On Your Workdesk? Wednesday!  Stop by Julia's Stampin Ground for all the details.

That, Sharon is a fab result! Wowsers! In four days of card making I couldn't do that much, I faff about and re-try to often. A nice idea to sit to challenges and sketches and such - and such a great way to bust some stash!

These are all terrific, but my absolute 2 favorites are your "Prayers" card with the bold color combo and the quilt design in the group setting. I don't believe I've ever made close to that many cards in such a short period of time. Happy WOYWW and Blessings!

Blimey! That is a LOT of cards! They all look good and I'll bet they last you a while. I need to make some more generic ones cause I always seem to need them last minute :) I wonder if the challenge is still up? Might be the kickstart I need...
:)

Happy WOYWW! a little late

What an amazing assortment! I like that you used stuff in your stash that you hadn't touch in a while or at all. The color combination of the prayer card is striking. I wouldn't have thought to put them together. Wonderful job! Diane #77
