WOYWW 228

Welcome to WOYWW!  (What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday)  If you don't know what that is, visit Julia's Stamping Ground and check it out!

I have been busy, but just not at my craft area.  Yesterday, I drove out of town to visit and craft with my friend!  So, what is on my table, is what I did at her craft table. :)  We worked on our calendar gift sets for Christmas gifts; I got four months started 15 of each.  They are all stamped, but now I have to color and sponge them yet. I used her stamps, and I took some of mine for her to use.  Now for the rest of the months, I will use my own stamps. :)  Also, I stamped some of her images for possible Christmas cards. I took some of my dies for her to use, and I used some of hers.  There is also a scrap page I have started.

But the most important thing I wanted you to see was that I took your advice, to use the shelf I found at the garage sale, to store my Copics.  Two weeks ago I showed this find to you, and at least three maybe more said it would  be perfect for my Copics!  So here they are!  What do you think?
                   Happy WOYWW!

Thank you for stopping by, and for your comments.  I enjoy reading every one of them!

The Copics look great in their home! How lovely to spend time with a crafting friend. My crafting friends are all online, but I did meet some of them in person a few weeks back at a wonderful craft show - great fun! Have a wonderful WOYWW! Julie Ann xx #45

People were right! Those little shelves are absolutely perfect for your Copics! You are going to enjoy seeing them stacked so prettily there :-)
And those calendar gifts are a great idea for Christmas. Julia is running a Calendar workshop in November, so that should be fun!

How nice to craft with friends and share supplies. The storage worked out brilliantly for Copics, looks like it was made for it! I'm thinking of making a calender for next year so I can put birthdays and DT due dates on it so I don't forget all the time, lol! Would have to make it bigger than your lovely gift ones though. The trees round here are at their peak right now, hopefully we'll get some more nice weather this weekend too.

Oh my gosh! I wondered if that was the spice rack we had seen on a crafter's desk not too long ago. I never thought of it for Copic storage. There are some really brainy people out there in WOYWW. I love that you and your friend got together and actually got some crafting done--my friends and I we get to stamping and forget. It is fun to share each others stamps and dies for sure!
