Tuesday/Wednesday Post WOYWW #455

Rejoice in the
Lord alway:
and again I say,
Rejoice.
Phil 4:4

Hello everyone!  We woke up to ice and snow this morning:

Not much but it was cold.  This afternoon the temp was 25 degrees feels like 12 degrees!  I was glad they cancelled Bible study.  I just stayed in my pjs all day!  Did my steps in the house and read.  Didn't even do any crafting!  This is my desk:

When you don't craft, it looks pretty nice!  LOL  I am showing you my desk because I am linking up with Julia's world wide desk hop over at  Stamping Ground.

And I am linking up with Elizabeth and Bluebeard over at Altered Book Lover for T Stands for Tuesday where we feature a beverage.   I thought of showing you these photos from  a Canadian cruise we took in 2012.  We  had a stop in Quebec City and visited Montmorency Falls.  After our walk to the Falls we had Tea at Le Manoir Montmorency.  Here is a photo of the front of the Manoir, and of our tea, (for my featured beverage)  even a close up of the light refreshment they served us.

Had to show you the Montmorency Falls, since that is what we went to see.  We were actually on that bridge.

It was a beautiful Fall day for a walk to the Falls.
It was fun to take time to remember part of this trip.  And we loved Quebec City.

Have a wonderful week, everyone!  Happy Tea Day, and Happy WOYWW!

  1. I have desk envy, Sharon. Your desk has everything close at hand.

Of course, I was most impressed with you taking us to Quebec City and the Montmorency Falls. Le Manoir Montmorency looks beautiful and I really enjoyed joining you for tea there. It looked like a delightful light refreshment, too. Fresh fruit and a piece of delightful cake must have gone well with your tea. Thanks so much for joining us for T this Tuesday.

  5. Today will be another warm, shirtsleeve day. Tomorrow, sleet and snow so my yard will look like yours. Your desk is so tidy. Mine not so much. The cake on your plate is so beautifully plated. Almost too pretty to eat. I bet the view from the bridge over the falls was spectacular. Enjoy your day.

  16. Ok first off......I would have had to have had more than that cake to go across that bridge.....but it does look beautiful! LOLOL I am a hiker, which makes it even more funny, but even though, I still hate heights! Crazy, I know! Love your clean desk and that snow looks lovely! We don't get any, so it would have been sweet to see! Make it a great rest of the week! Felicia #27

  18. Hello Sharon. what a tidy desk. No snow here at present but it is set to go very, very cold with a chance of snow. I visited Canada a few years ago but we were on the western side - Calgary, Banff, Vancouver Island Vancouver to name a few. The High Tea looks yummy and the falls are spectacular. There is nothing in the world that would have got me onto that bridge though!!!!! Have a great week. Anne x #15

  22. Hello dear Sharon - nice to meet you at T-Day! Thank you for visiting my blog! I enjoy this wonderful image of Montmorency Falls - what an amazing trip you had! Thanks for sharing! We have also got snow in Northern Austria and it is predicted to become -20 degrees frostiness during the next days --- it nearly seems that winter is only just beginning.
Your workspace look great - yes it's always the most work to clean up after creating. It would be nice to have an assistant for this...lol!
I will visit you more often - will follow your blog!
