T Stands For Trail Animals

And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. Genesis 2:19

It is time for TSFT again!  I know not quite Tuesday in the U.S, but it is overseas where a lot of our bloggers are!  We are joining Bleubeard & Elizabeth at Altered Book Lover for our T Stands For Tuesday Tea party!  Whatever beverage or drink reference you want to include in your blog post will get you into the party.  Then we can go all over the world and check what the rest of the T Gang are doing today.

We are still having intermittent unseasonable gorgeous weather for January, making it possible to walk my trail.  I see a lot of animals on our trail, but only the dogs will pose for me!  The few others I got are blurry because of movement or distance.  I love getting the dogs photos, along with their breed, and names.

I Will show the animals that won't pose first. LOL

The turtle held still for me!

This was a fox.  Kind of scrawny looking, though.  They are two quick as they run across the trail to get a good photo.

Here is a rabbit.

I have given up on the squirrels and birds.  I tried to get photo of squirrel today.

Today I took a photo of the horses that are in a meadow beside the trail.

Ok, now for the good ones!

Isn't she beautiful?  Meet Schmoo, a Bernedoodle.  My favorite!  Every time I see her I just love her.

I just met this Doberman, today.  She was so sweet.  She was wanting to go get squirrels rather than pose for me!

Meet Goldendoodle, Marley.  Isn't she sweet?

This is Bruno, another goldendoodle.  That is the breed I see most on the trail, but not this rich color.

These little guys are Norwich Terriers.

I think this is Sami, not sure if he is a black lab or not.

This is Zoe, a black lab.  This is the house that is next to the trail, and they have given me permission to go through their yard to get on the trail.  Sometimes I play ball with Zoe.  If they are outside when I come back sometimes, she brings me the ball and we play until I get tired of it.  She doesn't get tired of it! LOL

For my craft and for my drink here is a card.  I think the image was sent to me.  I colored it and die cut it and put it on some very old, retired SU! paper.  The base and layering panels are of a soft green.

Happy T Day to the T Gang.  And to everyone else, have a great week!  Thank you so much for stopping by.  Stay warm.  It is going to snow here this week.  66, today, tomorrow snow for crying out loud! We are in a Winter Storm watch! LOL

T Stands for Trail Fun

1 Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. Philippians 3:1a

Hello everyone!  It is a gorgeous day here!  57 degrees F!  I walked earlier, and yesterday, too.  The only downside is the wind, and it is cold when it blows!  But I enjoyed walks, Saturday, Sunday, & Monday.  I love it when I am able to get outside.  I didn't take any photos, but I have photos of an off trail walk I took when my hubby was doing physical therapy.  I had walked over to an office park area near by, where they had a walkway that was nice except for the bridge.  I will share these photos from June 27, 2021.

A nice little walkway until you get to the bridge.

When I got to the bridge, I saw this no trespassing sign and below I took a photo over the sign, and this is why there is no trespassing.  I held the camera above my head to get this shot over the sign.  I guess we won't go any further this way.  We will go back the way we came.

I walked the other way around since I couldn't cross the bridge, and below is the cute little statue.

It was a nice walk, even though I could not go across the bridge.  I like to find different places to walk.

Today it is time for TSFT, our tea party over at Altered Book Lover with Bleubeard & Elizabeth.  They hostess T Stands For Tuesday every week. We post something related to a beverage in our post and then we can join and see what all the other bloggers are doing.  Sometimes, we find a new brand of beverage, or a recipe, or a book or film review.  We just share all kinds of interests, and of course artwork!

This card was one of my Dirty Dozen cards while I was on the design team.  We can't share them during our 6 months on the team but can after.  So here it is.  I used Night Of Navy & Kaiser Kraft Designer paper.  The stamp set is from Fun Stampers Journey.  I was inspired by my teapot.

That is it for today.  Have a wonderful week!  Thanks for stopping by.

T Stands For Tags!

14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings: 15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; 16 Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain. Philippians 2:14-16

Hello!  It is time for my T Stands for Tuesday Post! And today I am posting some tags I made for Tag Tuesday and for my January Junk Journal Challenge.  Our challenge for the Tag Tuesday was given by hostess Wendy and we are to use fabric on it.  I made three, but don't know which one I like best.

This is the one I will submit for the Tag Tuesday Challenge.  It is made from (junk) a Kleenex box and covered with an old piece of linen cloth.  The image is a Julie Dear Julie digital, as well as the image of the fussy cut seashell. The sentiment is from an old Stampin' Up! catalogue.  I inked edges of both with Not Quite Navy.  I punched a hole and used a scrap of the same fabric for the tag topper.  I left some fabric frayed at the bottom.

Here are the other two tags, where I used the embroidered edges of the fabric, also.  The pocket on the one is from a button envelope that came with a blouse.

On the backs I glued notebook paper for journaling.  I plan on putting all three of these tags in my junk journal.

That is my craft project for the week.  Now for entry to Bleubeard & Elizabeth's t-party over at Altered Book Lover.  We always share a drink or something drink related in our post and join the party!

We did go out to eat around two one afternoon when there were very few other people eating at the time.  We had a gift card with a choice of places and chose LongHorn Steakhouse, because we didn't think we had ever been there.  I only remembered to take a photo of our water. LOL

Once the food came, it was so good, I forgot about any other photos.  We both ordered the grilled chicken & Strawberry Lunch salad combo.    Out of this world good!  Hubby got with seafood chowder with his and I got a sweet potato, which by the way was the largest, sweet potato I've ever seen!  I took half of it and half of salad home for lunch the next day!  We were so happy, with the comfort, not cold like some restaurants, service & food, we will be going back again.  Then I will try to remember to get photos of the neat decor!

That's it for today.  I am looking forward to checking in at TSFT and see what everyone else is doing this week! Thanks for stopping by.  Have a great week!

T Stands for Time Goes So Quickly!

15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, 16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Ephesians 5:15-16

Where does the time go!  I had so many plans for today's post, but here it is time again and I don't have any of the things done I had planned. I didn't even post last week, so two weeks of time flew away from me! I have started another Junk Journal Challenge for Dear Julie Julie, but don't really have anything to show for it.  I have just been getting my kit together of junk.  LOL My craft room is a mess because of it!

I will show you a card that I made last week for Challenges on Splitcoast.   The one below was for the SplitcoastStampers Fan Club Christmas Challenge.  I was a guest designer and we were to CASE (Copy and Share Everything) one of the leaders of the forum that was retiring.   We were honoring her in that way.  My card pretty much was the same sketch, just different papers, embossing folder, etc.  Yes, I already have a Christmas card done for 2022!  I used a Fun Stampers Journey Stamp set, "It's Cold outside, and a Cuddlebug Snowflake embossing folder.  I used the following paper & cardstock: Am. Crafts Jack Frost 6x6 paper & Baja Breeze by Stampin' Up, and Recollections 110lb cardstock for the base. I added the Merry Christmas from same stamp set and layered on a punched oval.  I stamped Night of Navy ink and added rhinestone snowflakes stickers by Jolee's

So, at least I am started on Christmas cards for the year.  I was scrambling at the end to get enough cards done, over 60.  I will try to do a few every month and try to use my time wisely. :)

For the tea party TSFT over at Bleubeard & Elizabeth's on Altered Book Lover, I will post a photo of our New Year dinner.

Spaghetti & Italian Sausage sauce & garlic toast & tossed salad, and hot tea for me, water for him.  You can see we are very casual!  Dressing bottles right on the table. LOL

I think everyone that reads my blog already has their gift calendars so I can show the gift calendars I made for family and some friends for 2022.  They display each month in a 3 1/2x5 acrylic frame.

That is for now!  Happy T Day! :)  Thank you for stopping by.
