WOYWW #252

I have been AWOL for the whole month of March!  I also haven't done much crafting, but here is my desk showing some new "goodies" I got on Saturday at a local arts & craft store where I went to my second Geli Print Plate demo. They do so many techniques with it.  And apparently, you need more than one plate!  But, I didn't purchase another one, just bought some more stencils and stamps.  Can never have too many stamps!   Also, on my desk is an Easter card that I made using some of the first prints I did on my plate.  There are two little goodies that a Splitcoast Stamper friend sent me in a swap:  A teabag holder, and a little box with a package of gum.  Then the mess of paper and bags to your right  are kits I am getting ready for our Encouragement Ministry card making day tomorrow.
In the other photo is some new Ikea racks that I haven't put up yet for my punches.  A girlfriend was in Phoenix at the Ikea store there  and picked me up some racks and two baskets. (one is up, already.)
If you want to know why I am showing you my desk, check out Julia's Stamping Ground.
Well that is it for this week.  Thank you for stopping by! :)

  6. Hi Sharon - thanks for sharing - especially the great use of the Ikea racks. I love the idea of an encouragement ministry card making day - must suggest this in our church. Any chance you could visit my blog & tell me how the ministry works? Don't worry if you're too busy, though. Have a great week. Chrysalis 53

  7. Love the look of the stamps and masks. The rails for the punches is a great idea. Not sure why you need two Geli plates though.

  17. Hello Sharon. What amazing stamps on your desk - they are so lovely - I think I am suffering stamp envy...oops - that's not good is it? fabulous storage idea with those racks from Ikea - they do make useful stuff don't they?
Thanks for already visiting - it's all show, really - the place isn't actually organised - it's just that the drawers still do shut! I confess I love doing some family history things - I find it fascinating. We have a family Bible which was given to my GGGGrandfather, Emmanuel, by his father, Charles. As a family they changed from being Anglican to being Wesleyan after hearing Wesley preach. It means my grandchildrern have all that Christian heritage they can be thankful for. It's very precious.
Have a great week - I love that picture behind your blog - Is it your garden? I just LOVE snow!!!

  25. I have my MS punches stored like that - and some others. Now no more wall room for things - sadly. Ikea do some great things for we crafters to adapt don't they.
Now I want to know about these gelli plates - why two?
    Hugs, Neet xx
