Happy 8th Anniversary TSFT!

One of my favorite Bible verses KJV Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Good evening! I hope this finds you cool.  It has been so hot everywhere it seems.  Except, I guess in Australia where I am told it is cold.   I am posting today to say Happy Anniversary to Bleubeard & Elizabeth over at Altered Book Lover for 8 years of T Stands For Tuesday!  Thank you Elizabeth for having TSFT.  I have only attended the T parties since January 23rd, 2018.  I had to look back and find it, and the warm welcome I received from Elizabeth and everyone else for my first post.  What is it all about?  Mostly just sharing a beverage and catching up with each other.  We link up over at Altered Book Lover where Bleubeard & Elizabeth are our host and hostess. We then blog hop and visit each other to see who is reading what, or watching what, or drinking what, or even crafting what?  We invite you to join us.

This week some of us are celebrating by swapping ATCs.  I have mine made and will put an asterisk by my name, so I will be included in the swap.  In the future, when everyone has theirs, we will have a reveal post.  Just something fun that Elizabeth has thought of us for the celebration.

Before I share photos for my TSFT post, I want to do a plug for our Dare To Get Dirty Challenges at Splitcoaststampers.  On my sidebar, you will see that I am on the Dirty Dozen Design Team, and we are hosting the best challenges of the year from August 7th to the 13th.  I have always loved these challenges.  There will be 5 to 7 challenges a day for the whole week, including great technique challenges, sketch, color, who knows!  You do have to be a Fan Club member at Splitcoaststampers to participate, but well worth it, because there are prizes!  It is like Christmas in August!  LOL  I invite you to check it out.  I am one of the hostesses and am buy making samples, so can't show you what I am doing this week.

I remembered to take a couple of photos at Cracker Barrel last week.

I had the turkey & dressing & sweet potatoes &  apples.
Comfort food!  Hubby had the chicken strips, and apples.  Of course, we love the biscuits and honey, and our lemon water.

They have such interesting decor, and this was right above our table.

I also wanted to show you that hubby is doing well, barely needs a cane anymore.  He is even grilling again.  I really missed that while he was laid up.

I wish the T Gang Happy T Day!  Thank you all  for stopping by.

Your Bible verse is very relevant to the general situation in the United States today. Very good choice.

The Cracker Barrel is perfect for comfort food. I always enjoyed going there when I was younger. My favorite was the fried chicken.
Happy Tea Day,
Kate

I look forward to seeing what you make during your time at Dare to Get Dirty week. I'm sure it will all be fun and you will surely make some great pieces.

I found Cracker Barrel was great for looking at their products they sell, but they don't exactly cater to vegetarians. Your comfort food looks wonderful, though and water is always best when eating out. Thanks for sharing your trip to Cracker Barrel and your lemon water with us for T this Tuesday, dear friend.

Happy 8th T on Tuesday Anniversay! My daughters been telling me, via facebook, how hot it is. We are having nothing but rain! And a months down pour at once! Should be nice and warm by the weekend though. Hopefully! Hubby looks busy, mine cooked our dinner on the BBQ last night, odd thing to do I thought, but he was happy, even though it was raining!
Have a great crafty week ((Lyn))

It's such a joy to see your husband back up and about and stronger and grilling :) I know you're both thrilled.

I remember Cracker Barrel, but it's been sooo long! There's always a hard decision when it comes to their menu. So many choices!

Happy T Anniversary!

Sharon it’s good to see your DH back out and about and doing the cooking *wink*. Your food looks yummy at the restaurant you went to and such big portions. Cool decor. Yes it’s cold and very wet here in Oz. I’m sure in a few months I will be wishing it were cooler. Keep cool and well. Hugs and Happy Tuesday jx

So good to see your husband up and about, and doing what he does best(I assume): grilling.
I'm pleased to learn that you are a 'Dirty Girl' It made me smile. Congratulations on being on the Design Team.
Your meal looks nice. That is a huge piece of turkey.
I had fun looking up Cracker Barrel, and then learning what a cracker was and a common cracker (I didn't know).
I learn so much from blogging.
Happy T-Day-Blog-a-versary,
Hugs,
Lisca
