T Stands for Tuesday, Teapot & Tag

Psalms 37:4-5 "Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.  Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass."

Welcome to my blog!  I have a couple of items to show you today as I join Elizabeth over at Altered Book Lover  for T Stands For Tuesday and Tag Tuesday.

First for Elizabeth here is another one of my teapots:

This was among one of the first I ever was gifted.  It was given me the Christmas before our first grandson was born to commemorate the event and also because Noah's Ark was the theme of his nursery even though this was for me!   Our dear grandson is now 22!  Wow!  I took a photo of it with all the stuffed animals as I thought that was appropriate.

For Tag Tuesday, where Michele has challenged us to use hearts as the theme,  I made this tag.  Again, I use my tags and whenever I scrap this years Valentine photos, this will probably be on the layout, so you might see it again!

I didn't have a heart stencil, so made one!  I used acrylic paint, bronze Fun Farmers Journey Silks to flick, and stickers, rhinestones, and Tim Holtz Small Talk stickers, and lace.

Thank you for visiting!  A message to the Tea Gang:  Happy Tea Day!  I may be really late to visit you!

  1. Your tea pot is adorable and fantastic! (And it reminded me I have a rhinoceros tea pot! I have to remember to work that into a future T-Day post.) Your artwork is lovely. Happy T-Day!

  2. I linked you Sharon. Did you try to refresh my blog? The link apparently showed for everyone else.

That's a great teapot. It is both adorable and something very appropriate for T this Tuesday.

Nice tag, too. I like how you made your own stencil. It helps to have a specific use for tags, because I never know what to do with them after I make them. Perhaps I shou8ld try to incorporate them in my altered book and journal pages.

Thanks for sharing your lovely teapot and your tag with us for T this Tuesday, dear.

  3. Your teapot looks fantastic and I love how you displayed it with the cuddly animals.
The tag you made looks so romantic, the details are lovely.
Your tag would also fit our new theme at Try it on Tuesdays, if you would like to link it over there.
    Happy T day wishes.

  5. I think this is my favorite of all the teapots you have shown us. I am glad you didn't recycle this one before you moved. And nice tag too. What is it about hearts that makes them so appealing? Hope it was a good one. Hugs-Erika

  6. The teapot looks amazing among the collection of soft toys. Just my sort of thing for sure as I knit fancy teacosies and soft toys for charity.

The tag is very beautiful as well and romantic.

Hope T Day went well for you

    Love Chrissie xx

  11. Hello!!! I too love china cups and saucers, I think they are gorgeous even though I don't drink tea nor coffee, go figure. I love the history of these china pieces and the memories... I found your blog in the blogs forum on SCS, I too would like to start my own blog and write and upload photos on the cards I make and my Christian life--I am an absolute beginner when it comes to anything about blogs and I want to do this blog for fun and to hopefully get involved in some challenges and to write about my life as a believe and hopefully one where my relationship with Christ gets closer, that I grow in my faith. I'm really enjoying looking through your blog!!! My name on SCS is 905lovestostamp, my gallery is pretty small and I'm hoping that I will be uploading more in 2019. Blessings to you and thanks for being able to visit your neat blog!
