Scrap Retreat & WOYWW # 472 & T Stands for Tuesday

Phi 4:4  Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

Hello fellow bloggers!  I really have gotten out of the habit of posting to my blog.  But I miss all of you!  I meant to post last week, but I wasn't feeling very well.   I had been to a scrapbooking retreat that week-end and came back with lots of finished pages, but also with a terrible cold and cough.   I feel better tonight, but now hubby has it!  For What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday over at Stamping Ground hosted by Julia I will show you a photo of 21 of 23 pages I finished.  Pretty proud of that number.  I have never done that many pages in such a short time before!

We had our retreat at a wonderful historical three story home.  So, I took the photo of my finished pages on the great staircase.
Also, before I went to the scrapbook retreat my husband and I went out to eat at one of our favorite places, so will post a photo of that for the T gang at T Stands for Tuesday over at Altered Book Lover.

We love the rolls with special butter, peanuts, salad, and ice water with lemon over at Texas Roadhouse!  Who needs the dinner? LOL

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.  I wanted to tell you I found out after my last post that I have not been getting the emails when someone posts, and I have to review them to publish them. For some reason, I got into my blog account and found all of the unpublished comments.   So, I am apologizing if I didn't get back with you.  I now am aware of the problem and will check my blog account.  Thank you for understanding.
Have a great week!

  4. I apologize fir being so late visiting. I didn;t even realize you had linked until was in the process of refreshing my blog post just now.

You got a LOT of scrapbook spreads completed during your retreat. You didn't have Julia to distract you while creating those 23 spreads (grin). Stunning quantity and lovely spreads, too.

I've never heard of the Texas Roadhouse, but your salad, peanuts, and water look like a place I want to visit.

You asked about Margarita's. YES, it is the exact place. They tell you on the way in to watch your step, but are not there when you leave. I'm not sure if you spent all that time talking and reminiscing with your sister, or if you were waiting for your food to arrive. If that latter, I have had that happen to me. Poor service and snooty wait staff seem to be par for them, although Sally doesn't seem to remember it. Thanks for sharing your food and water with us for T this Tuesday, and I'll see you at Julia's soon, too.

  5. Wow, what a spectacular display of all you beautiful pages! I love the wild west and Yellowstone pages, you captured the look and feel beautifully 😁. They bought back happy memories of our visits to Yellowstone park, it is such an amazing place! The retreat must have been a great environment to get creative with all the amazing pages you created too, well done you! It must have been fun to visit to your favourite restaurant too and your food so yummy 😁. Sending you very Happy T Day wishes! J 😊 x

  6. I'm with you at the Texas Road House. I think they have very good salads. They are pretty "basic", nothing wild added, and I like how they serve them on a old plate. And wow, you have been on a creative roll. Those are some pretty scrap pages for sure. Happy Day after T day. :) Hope it was a happy day. Hugs-Erika

  12. HI Sharon, I love how you staged the layouts shot that was really brilliant :) and no one is getting emails about blog comments (supposedly they are working on it) but, I usually just glance at the dashboard list when I am about to make a new post to see if there are comments on recent posts and have found a few that way. ~Stacy #32

  14. Hi Sharon. What a wonderful photo of your productive weekend - the pages all look great. Hope you are feeling better now. I don't get email notification - never have with this particular blog host - but at some point in the very near future have to completely re-thin my whole website because of something google has dropped and is going to stop working soon... what a real waste of time. I also run the risk of losing everything I have ever had in the way of comments! And I don't want that - I appreciate them too much to lose them!!
    Take care. God bless.

  15. The peanuts on the table remind me of the Logan's steakhouse here.

The comment notification problem is a pain, isn't it! Supposedly they are working on a fix, so.....

    Happy T Tuesday :)

  18. I love all your pages, Sharon, and what a fabulous way to display them, on the stairs. That's a great way to photograph them. Hope you are feeling better now. That salad looks delicious! Thank you for your lovely comment and I'm so glad you enjoyed my post! Our kitties have been adorable since we first got them last July - and now they are all grown up. The kitten stage lasts such a short time! I love making bread of all sorts. I have a bread maker and use that for our normal everyday bread, putting it in at night so it's ready in the morning, nice and crisp and hot! I was so pleased with my first effort at sourdough.

Have a great week and happy WOYWW,
