WOYWW 268

I tell you this Wednesday desk hop sure comes around quickly every week!  How does that happen?  I will try to post early, because  I have Bible study, then I am scheduled for a root canal! Ouch!  Last night I made a CAS Christmas Card for our SCS Twisted Sister Challenge to make a Christmas card using a wreath.  Very simple and it only took minutes.  Am seriously thinking I might make them all like this! I used SU! Sketch It for the wreath, and the sentiment is from RiverCity Rubber Works Pine & Holly stamp set. These are both old sets, but classic.

My desk this morning!

I made the above card with my new Our Daily Bread stamps that I got at the stamp show last month.  I made it for the SCS Try a New Technique challenge to score your card, and for the Clean and Simple Challenge to do a Beach Themed Card.  I am hoping this will be a good masculine card.  The cardstock is Baja Breeze, and Close to Cocoa, both retired.

Thanks for stopping by, and for your encouraging comments.  I will stop by your desks this afternoon,
If you don't know what What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday is, stop by Julia's Stamping Ground and check out our Desk Hop.  Happy Wednesday!

  3. Hi Sharon, love the scenic card, as you say, they make great mens cards for those not into beer/sport etc. And nice, quick simple Xmas cards are what is definitely needed, and your wreath seems to fit that bill nicely. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #22 xx

  11. Lovely fun Christmas card there, Sharon. The beach image is gorgeous - I just LOVE the seaside and BIG seas!! The Our daily bread images are so lovely - but I don't think there is an outlet in Britain for them :-(
