WOYWW 269

Happy Wednesday everyone!  I hope you are having a great week!  It is that  time once again to desk hop and look at everyone's desk!  I always enjoy looking at all your spaces and seeing what you are doing. I have learned so many new things since I started particcipating in Julia's desk hop!  Check out the rest of the desks at Stamping Ground.
I finally have my space put back together again after the carpet cleaning.  I took the opportunity to purge and to reorganize.  I now have most of my sentiment stamps in a handy space right at my finger tips and organized by , Bible Versses, Sympathy, Get well, and Anniversary, etc.  One whole drawer is for birthday stamps.  One drawer is for scrapbooking stamps, (alphabet, etc), and one drawer is for holiday stamps.  I still have lots of other stamp sets;  but it is more organized, now.  Here are some photos of how it is organized. I really did purge some stamp sets, and got rid of one large plastic cabinet. And, I did make a card on Monday!

This card was made for several Splitcoast Stamper challenges.  I didn't take a photo of sentiment on the inside, so am showing you the stamp I stamped it with.  The paper is SU! Bliss Blue Brilliant Blue CS & DP, all retired.  I used the SU!  Beautiful Wings Emboslit, and Banners Framelits. I also used Spellbinders Inverted scallopped circle dies and added pearls to the butterflies.  That is another thing I did, put all my butterfly sets and sentiments are all in one place!  It is so much easier to put my hands on what I want to use!
Have a great Wednesday!  I will hop over and see you all.  Thanks for stopping by, and for your encouraging comments.

  6. Awesome organization! When I first started scrapping I did all my work standing at the kitchen counter, one eye on the kids in the family room. I love your tall counter and the addition of a high stool/chair gives the best of both. Funny, it's a totally different perspective looking down on the desk from up high, isn't it :)

    Happy WOYWW!

  7. Wow, Sharon. If I get my carpet cleaned - would you come and organise my space too?? Brilliant - lots of room, everything to hand Well done you.
Thanks for visiting. I confess I have no idea how come I got the number one slot! The choir robes are not actually as posh as they look - made from VERY cheap satin which is actually a seconds fabric - but I confess, it does look great in the photo.
    Take care. God bless.

  18. Hi Sharon, totally love your crafting space! We seem to spend forever organising and re-organising, don't we? Gorgeous card too, love the blue colour. About the EF, its called Tied Together, by Couture Creations. I saw it used on a card with the half pearls I've used with it for a wedding card, and thought it was awesome. Have a great week, Hugs, Shax #6 xxx

  20. Love the reorganization! It is looking really good and really tidy. It's nice to have things sorted out for easier and better access. I think it is good to do from time to time as your tastes change so then you can put the latest and greatest products at your fingertips. Seeing your room made me think that maybe hubby is right, a room of my own would be cool. But who are we kidding?! We're not moving and I love being in the living room. If I wasn't there, there would be no point in having a living room!!!
