Celebrating Tuesday & Wednesday!

Rejoice in the
Lord alway:
and again I say,
Rejoice.
Phil 4:4

Good morning! It is Tuesday and did I ever get up early!  I couldn't sleep!  So, I will do a post and link to Bleubeard & Elizabeth's T Stands for Tuesday over at  Altered Book Lover.  And I apologize to Bleubeard as I have been misspelling his name!  So, let's get to it! :)  First, I did remember to take a photo of our drinks when we went out to eat and this is usually our beverage choice when we dine out.  Water with lemon.

And yes, another teapot!  This one was a gift and originally sat on a matching cup.  I don't know what happened to the cup.   I have used this more as a decoration in my bookcase, than for tea.

And a tea card I made several years ago.  I love this Lili of the Valley image!  And if that isn't what I look like in the mornings!  On my laptop in my nightgown with my tea! LOL  Well, my hair isn't that neat and I don't have earrings on yet.  Oh, and I am in my robe!  But do have my tea in one hand and typing with the other on my laptop!  The cardstock & Blueberry Crisp DSP is SU!  I used A-2 Spellbinder dies for the shapes. I colored with Copics and sponged around the image.

`

Happy WOYWW to all the deskers  over at Julia's!  I don't have a photo of my desk, but here is my latest project for my Stash Buster Challenge at SplitcoastStampers.

The challenge was to
1. Use a different paper other than just cs or pp on your LO- I used glitter paper for the snowflake.
2. use eyelets or brads-I used both.
3. Use a tool of choice- I used an eyelet setter and a Big Shot
4. Use a technique- I used a grid technique as well as layering and Mixed Medium

I followed a Grid lesson by Debbie Hodge from Get It Scrapped.  I had never done a lesson from anyone before, so it was fun.  So for my first try, I think I did pretty well.

I think this post is long enough!  Have a wonderful day.

Happy Tea Day to the T Gang!
Thank you for stopping by.

  4. I am having a terrible week. I can’t stop coughing, my internet keeps going offline, and my keyboard works about half the time.

I realize I’m not a very good host, but want to thank you for sharing T with us this Tuesday. That's a fabulous teapot and card Happy Vernal Equinox, too.

  11. It could be me too! I'm always sat at the kitchen table, reading stuff on my ipad with a cuppa to hand and usually in my PJs too :-D. After years of getting up early for work/kids, it's one of life's simple pleasures being able to start the morning in a more relaxed manner!

  12. Hi Sharon, what a pity that you don't have the cup to go with the teapot any more. Love the early morning stamp; in my case the mug would have Coconut Latte in it lol. Have a good week. Sarah #12

  16. Hi Sharon, that water looks so refreshing. I often have water, without the lemon, with a meal - especially if it is going to be a spicy one. The teapot is cute. I have one that sits on a cup too and I never use it though I thought I would when I bought it - it just sits on display instead. Your layout is lovely - great snowy photos. I haven't used brads in forever. I should get them out again and use them too. Have a great scrappy week. Elizabeth x #28

  17. Evening Sharon. Yes, I'm with most other folk - a relaxed start one way or another. Pop downstairs, make a cuppa, bring it back up to bed with a good book. Read my Bible, pray... then think about getting up and breakfast. Wonderful. Don't have a laptop though, so have to sit at a "real" computer with my cuppa - not as cosy as an arm chair or bed!! A lovely page made - and a fantastic fun card.
    Take care. God bless.

  18. Glad to see you're finding a way to still 'play' with us even though you're keeping your stamp room neat and tidy for showings. I'll bet Larry will be thrilled to live someplace he doesn't have to shovel anymore :-) Great StashBuster layout! Creative Blessings! Kelly #25

  24. I love looking at teapot collections! They can be so beautiful, to so creative, to downright "what were they thinking?"! This one is lovely! If I were to take a photo of our drinks when we are eating out for dinner, usually it's a glass of red wine (me) and a Scotch (him). Just one! Then we move to water. Your scrapbook page is lovely, you did the grid proud! Thanks for your visit, sorry for the late reply! Lindart #34

  26. Went to a Silver Wedding on Saturday and as I don't drink coffee asked for hot water which came with rather a dainty teapot and some slices of lemon. Delicious! Now converted so need some lemons in a jar (not as tart as the others).
Love your teapot and your card made me smile - and I wondered about the neat hair too :)
    Hugs, Neet
