WOYWW 380 & 50th

Good morning!  How are all my crafty friends?  :)  I missed last week, I guess my excuse is it was our 50th wedding anniversary on the third and we went on a short get-a-way.  Would you believe we went back to where we went on our honeymoon?  We went back to the same restaurant, too.  We have the original ticket; it was $2.50 each.  This time for same thing as then, it was $16.00!  We had a delightful time!

First photo is of my desk for the What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday, as we show our desks.  Check our hostess Julia's Stamping Ground to see what the rest of the deskers are doing.

I got a goodie envelope from my Stampin' Up! demo, Kelly, this week , just for ordering!
Beautiful Christmas and fun Halloween papers, ribbon, enamel dots, and the cutest little charm from the Christmas Trinkets. Best of all a sweet little note thanking me for my business!  Other items, some cut, fold, & tuck dies from Spellbinders that I picked up at Tuesday Morning.  A LOTV image I am going to color for a Christmas card.  Oh, and I tried using the brass stencils thru the Big Shot, didn't do anything  I must doing something wrong!  Well, you get an idea what is going on here.  Now, I must go see what you are doing!

Next is a photo of some of the gorgeous hand made cards for us and the other kind too.  I made the box and matching card for my husband. The card to the left of the box is from my BFF whose 50th was earlier this Summer.  She and I have known each other since 7th grade, (57 yrs.) She is 24 days older than me.  Just saying.  Thank you to my lovely friends for all your best wishes and cards! Oh, the background for the cards is a photo our son took and  had enlarged and put on wood for us.  It is on our mantle.  Of course the cards are in front of the statue of liberty and a ship in front of it. :)

Thank you for stopping by and for your lovely comments.  Off to see you!

  2. It's lots of fun getting goodies in the mail, isn't it? :) Beautiful cards! I have trouble making cards...I must be card-challenged or something. Wow! 50 years! Me and my hubby will be celebrating our 25th next year. Congrats to you! (My Scrap Menagerie #47)

  7. What a lovely anniversary memory, Sharon. I love that you knew what the price was back then versus today. Considering the number of years that have gone by, that really isn't too bad of a price hike. LOL Glad you like your happy mail. Hugs! Creative Blessings! Kelly #39

  8. Congrats on your anniversary! Love the cards. What a nice surprise the goodies were in the post - always nice to receive something unexpected.

    Have a great week
