My Hawaiian Scrapbook and WOYWW 305

Col. 3:16-17 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus giving thanks to God  and the Father, by him.

Good morning WOYWW Deskers!  I have been trying to get my Hawaiian album done, and I have a one track mind!  Here is what my desk looks like today and for about a week!  To find out why I am showing you my desk, check out Julia's Stamping Ground. It is all part of a world wide  blog hop! I will share some of my completed pages with you today.

This was a scraplift of Lela (Lmn) on SCS.

I used a shell die using leftover photo scraps on here.
I have so much fun reliving our fun trip when I scrap our memories.  The best part of scrapbooking!  I have done 11 pages and have 9 more to do.  Why 20?  Because they have 10 pages in the albums where you can insert 20 pages.  So that helps me keep it under control! Because I take hundreds of photos! :)  Now, I don't print off that many!  But I did print almost a hundred of them!  Sometimes I use them on pages to put in my yearly albums, and sometimes I use them on cards.  Anyway, you can imagine, I have lots of photos.  It is very overwhelming.  I file away the ones I don't use in those white photo boxes.  If I do an album for family members, I look in those boxes for extras. So they do come in handy.
I used my new SU! die for the title, & the Whale die.

I just chose a few pages to show you.  We loved the beach, the water, the waves, and that tropical breeze!   Wonderful!

Thank you for stopping by today.  Have a wonderful Week!  I hope to stop by and see you after Bible study!

  4. Am loving that you have a system for photos..mine is a rather shameful drawer. Anyway, back to your fab album, oh my Hawaii....you could scrap it forever and I wouldnt be bored. I like the shapes punched from photos. and the smiley relaxed faces. And the sunshine...I can almost feel the breeze...

  6. Sea, sun and fun! Lovely memories! Your photos are gorgeous! It's good you have a system. I hardly ever print out photos. Only if I need one for scrapbooking. I have a photo printer in my room and I just print it pout there and then.
    Have a good week,

  10. Your pages are gorgeous, and I'm impressed at how you keep your photographs organized for future projects too. Other than a couple of little albums I made, I hadn't gotten into scrapbooking until I got my Smash book. Now I know what you mean with "reliving." Thank you for your earlier visit. Blessings!

  11. This is something that I am seriously behind in doing scrapbooking, my children all being grown up wonder why I don't do it anymore. I really like your pages especially the idea of using photo scraps and the die cuts. Thanks for sharing.
