Card Making, Scrapbooking, Memory Verses & WOYWW 296

Col. 3:16-17 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus giving thanks to God  and the Father, by him.

What?  Another week gone by?  Happy What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday!  So, as part of this desk hop of Julia's at Stamping Ground, I am showing you what my desk looked last night. I was making kits and getting ready for card making for our Encouragement Ministry Wednesday after Bible Study.  Last week one of the dear ladies came over and we worked together on two die cutting machines, cutting dies of our Bible verses.  Last night  I made up kits for all the different cards.  Now that is all packed up to take with me this morning.

Then I am showing you a new addition to my craft room.  Hubby put together this desk that was my Mom's.  Don't know what I am going to use it for, but it already has the top surface full! LOL

There is my  scrap page for my February Scraplift Challenge on Splitcoast Stamper.  If you are a scrapbooker, come join us!  Last month we had 16 entries.  No prizes, just fun!

Last there are photos of my memory verse project.  I memorized Col. 3:16-17 when I was participating in Busy Mama's 31 day Bible study of Col. 3. This was a wonderful study, and I love these verses and hope to truly apply them to my life. I am doing pages of my verses and putting them in this flip frame, so I can keep them on my desk handy and  in view.  I put these verses on Gelli print backgrounds that I had prevously done.

Thank you for stopping by!  Have a wonderful Wednesday.

  3. I love the overhead shot of your desk although it is a good thing I'm not afraid of heights! Your card kits look nice and very organized. They should be easy to assemble. That's a nice big desk. I hope you have space for it as there is a lot of nice surface to work on (or fill up). Nice projects too! Love the photos of the sunset. Judy #79

  4. Good idea to use dies to cut out Bible verses. They'll make lovely cards.
Last month I joined Walking4fun after I saw your 'button' and I'm really enjoying it! I've done the (short but beautiful) Crater Lake trail and I have now nearly finished the Wonderland trail. You really got me going!
Have a great week (with lots of walks if the weather isn't too bad)

  8. Thanks for the visit earlier and you are spot on with your comment about my tidy desk being ready to play. That's why I cleaned it off... I was trying to motivate myself to play. At the time I was only motivated to throw everything across the room--not too productive! LOL!

  11. In my mind, there is nothing like doing artwork that glorifies the Lord's love for us, and that's exactly what you are doing through your Church ministry. I really like your Mom's desk, and I can envision all sorts of uses for it. Blessings, my friend!

Must set to with some cards soon - haven't done much since Christmas. Done loads of other things, just no cards...
