WOYWW 241

Hello! I missed  WOYWW last week!  And I  have only made three cards so far this year!   My area is a mess!  So, here is what it looks like.  It hasn't changed since I made this birthday card on Saturday night!  I need some mojo! Will you send me some Mojo? So why am I showing you my messy area?   Julia has has created What's on your Workdesk? Wednesday so we could all be nosy and snoop in each others craft areas!  For information go to Stampin Ground. :)

My area since Saturday night
I made this card using this fabulous KaiserCraft paper "Tea at Elsie's' collection 6" pad.  I have had it in my stash for 8 years or more!  I have been hoarding it! :)  I used QuickCut tea die for the cups, and SU! Lattice die for under the cups.  For the sentiment I used a stamp from Tea Shoppe, and a SU! punch.  I used pearls and flowers from Recollections, and lace that was in my drawer.   All has been in my stash for awhile!  This time I even stamped a row of tea cups on the outside of the envelope.  I didn't photograph it, but the cups stamp in is in the photo of my area.

I did this card for the Featured Stamper Challenge
and for the Stamp2Spend Challenge both on SCS

Birthday card for friend

Have a great WOYWW! Thank you for stopping by, and for your comments.  I will come see your spaces after Bible study this morning!

  1. What a pretty card!
I haven't done a workspace Wednesday in a long while, maybe that will be part of today's post. It's quite a disaster, so will have to do a clean up first!

  4. Sharon you are speaking to the choir or should I say hoarding choir? I desperately need to purge my old sfuff. I only have one card created this new year and I need to be making them for my Etsy shop. But I have been cleverly procrastinating. Your card is very pretty. I really like your wooden storage for your Copics. Might I ask where you found that? I am always looking for creative ways to store my markers.

  6. Really?! You've had that paper stashed for 8 years? I'm not one to talk I probably have paper from that far back or farther. Sorry to hear that the Mojo Monster has gone astray. I'm sure it will be back soon. I don't know why crafting creates such a mess but it does. When I'm not sure what to do next I tend to sit and stare into space. Now instead of staring into space I pick up whatever I was using and put it away immediately. I also try to pick up my desk every evening before bed. I am motivated by the kittens who will toss everything on the floor in the night if I don't. Anyway... that's how my desk has been staying so tidy. I don't expect it to last but I've done stranger things before.... no. Actually, maybe I haven't.
