What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 242

Good morning!  It is two o'clock Wednesday morning and I couldn't sleep.  So I got up and took photos of what's on my workdesk.  Some of what was there this time last week is still there.  Also, I dumped my tools on there, that I took to a SU! workshop today.  And then there is my Christmas gift from my wonderful GF, who got me exactly what was on my wish list. It is the large pink ATG, that I haven't figured out how to load yet is sitting there waiting for me  read the instructions! :)  It is fun on Wednesdays to check out each others craft areas.  It you are interested, please check out Julia's Stamping Ground.  She is the one responsible for all this Wednesday fun. :)
I do have to tell you that last night while I tried to neaten my space (yes, I tried) I found two things I have looked for, for months!  One, was my exacto knife, which I found  on the floor behind a small cabinet next to my workdesk.   I had even purchased a new one. The other thing I found was my Copic colorless marker.  I had looked behind my workdesk  on the floor, and not seeing it, had given up, and thought it got thrown away.  Well, the lower half of my wall behind my workdesk,  is paneling and then there is molding on top of that.  When I was picking up the exacto knife, I happen to see that marker sitting on the molding right behind and under where I keep my markers.  It hadn't fallen clear to the floor. I was so excited to find these two things!  So had to share.

Hope you have a great WOYWW!  Thanks for stopping by my space, and for your encouraging comments. I will try to come by your space too! :)

  7. I did the same thing with my x-acto knives. Now I have two, one that's nice and sharp, and one kinda dullish cuz sometimes that's what's needed. :-) When the sharp one gets dull I swap in a new blade.

  9. somewhere, in amongst all my crafty stash are 5 loose journal pages I have made for a swap with friends. Can I find them? Can I heck! I have tidied, and tidied and given up looking now. Hoping that next time I go looking for something else they will turn up! Lx

  10. Two lucky finds! Love the ATG gun but don't ask me about loading. I get in a pickle each time. There are You Tube videos which help though.
I am not sleeping hence my one am visit.
    Thanks for visiting me earlier.

  12. My keys slid down the couch cushion once but not all the way to the floor. They were too far down for you to reach down and get them. They were there for days while I used my spare key. Finally I got frustrated and TORE the house apart, including tossing the sofa on its back--and there they were. So I can totally relate to the marker on the molding bit. And you probably couldn't have rested it there if you tried! I'm still admiring your spice rack/marker holder. Once you load the ATG gun a couple times you'll be an old pro at it. Thanks for the visit earlier!

  14. See, when we are not looking, we find things. That's my strategy - don't even try to look, it will find me..... eventually!
    Happy very belated WOYWW!

  17. For being number 1 this week, I've sure taken a long time to return your visit. All I can do is blame it on Blogger and my life getting in the way of computer time. I got a good laugh at your clean-up. You have NO IDEA how many times this neat freak has found something I lost after a good cleaning. Way to go.

  18. I forgot to tell you, Sharon. The ONLY place I found a Gelli was at gelliarts.com I think they make it so you MUST buy it from them. It took me three years to get mine. They are sure not cheap, that's for sure. BTW, Bleubeard got it for me for Christmas. Bless his pointed ear self!
