WOYWW #223

This is what my workspace looks like right now.  I guess I didn't make too big a mess making a card for several of this week's challenges at SplitcoastStampers tonight.  See those leaves?  I actually stamped with them.  I went into my backyard and snipped them off my Rose of Sharon and then brought them in and inked them up and stamped a background on my card.  It was an easy and fun technique.  This is the first time that I have participated in Whats On Your Workdesk Wednesday?, so will you let me know if I did it right?

Thank you for stopping by! And please let me know you were here! :)  Have a great rest of the week.

  7. Welcome WOYWW Newbie!!!! Leaves?! How exciting! I've never heard of anyone stamping with leaves before. It looks like it turned out really neat though. The card you made it very lovely as well.

Thanks for the visit early and the comment about Charles being fascinated by something to want to be in every picture. Sh.... don't tell because it is embarrassing. It is the camera flash that fascinates him. He loves shiny things. Hubby watched some sci fi thing on TV last night that had lots of flashing lights and Charles sat right there and watched intently.

  12. Hi Sharon. Thank you for visiting me and welcome to WOYWW!!! I'm pretty new too. Your desk is beautiful, so serene and welcoming. Thank you for joining and sharing. I love the leaf stamp. I'm not a "stamper" however I do make my own stamps out of stuff and have a couple pre-made ones too for painting. I am going to try that out. Looks like fun. Have a great week and see you next Wednesday! Rasz #125

  16. Hi there Sharon! Thanks for visit my blog :-). You will adore being part of WOYWW, I've met the best, supportive, fun, creative people. It has enhanced my life!
I like the effect you get by stamping with the leaves, what a great idea. Not only does the stamping look great but it was thrifty too. I don't paper craft at all (sewing and yarns are my thing) but I can appreciate the artistry and techniques that you paper crafters have.
    See you again, I hope,
    Hugs, LLJ 54 xx
