Christmas Cards in August

Happy Tuesday!  I didn't have any special plans for today which is  a perk of being retired. My GF unexpectedly called and we went out for lunch. :)   I thought I would post more of my DTGD cards.  I used a new Christmas stamp set ( new to me) for this card. The Sounding Joy by SU! There is so much I could do with this set, and look forward to using it again.  I stamped the star sentiment with SU! white craft ink and heat embossed with SU! Winter White embossing powder.   I also used a stamp from the set to stamp the envelope. I love stamping the envelopes, I think it makes it special. I loved how this script looks on the envelope.   The white stars were cut with SU! Star Die.  And the sentiment Christmas blessings is a rub on from SU!  The red CS is Cherry Cobbler by SU!  I mounted the Cherry Cobbler panel on a square card.  I think I had gotten these square cards and envelopes on sale at Michaels.   Love sales and coupons! :)

This card was made for the following challenges:

                             DTGD13Giogio,
                             DTGD13TammieE
                             CCC13

Here are four more Christmas cards I did  for DTGD.  I made them from printed paper and stickers from Hobby Lobby.  Who says it has to be complicated?  My goal this year has been to make at least 3 cards a month, so when December comes I will have most of my cards done. I also am trying to stamp the insides, so I don't have to do that in a hurry.  It is almost as difficult to think of what you want to stamp on the inside as making the card itself!   :)
