I'm not playing in WOYWW this week, but wanted to say how much I also like that shaving cream technique. The paper smells SO good afterward, too, and it's so, so soft. One thing I might add is, instead of removing the shaving cream with a craft stick, I lay another piece of CS over the first, then remove it. I find I get two images and they are always so different. Then I scrape my shaving cream off after that.

I would LOVE to have you join us for T any Tuesday you wish. We are a small, but very friendly group, so please do join us anytime. Just like Julia asks you to show your desk, I ask that you, in some way, tie your post back to a drink, any drink! Again, we would LOVE to have you.

Bleubeard and Elizabethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10149710375520733752noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4722032610677529676.post-33231552917730142742015-11-09T08:41:53.484-06:002015-11-09T08:41:53.484-06:00Popping by to say 'Hi' and see if there ar...Popping by to say 'Hi' and see if there are vacation pictures yet. Thanks very much for visiting me!
My illustrations in my prayer journal have helped me with slowing down to reflect on each word of the verse I am illustrating but after I finish the journal, I hardly get to see the illustrations again. So when I heard about bible journaling, I decided to try it out. But I know what you mean about mulling over the bible art journal thing. Personally, I would make sure that the words of the bible are not covered over with my illustration. For me, the bible is first a bible so I'm not going to make it my art journal. I like to think of it as something I will pass on to my daughter, filled with my art and the reflections that went with making each illustration.
Your shaving cream project looks wonderful! Who would have thought you can use shaving cream for card making!
Blessings, peggy aplSEEDSpeggy aplSEEDShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10768955822621326694noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4722032610677529676.post-79773770047564837742015-10-15T14:34:12.450-05:002015-10-15T14:34:12.450-05:00Who knew shaving cream could be so versatile! The card you made using one of your pieces as a background is beautiful. Thanks for your earlier visit. Glad you liked our picturesque fishing village - we are so lucky to live in a beautiful area and, yes, I now have even more photos to scrap :) Have a great week.
